Hampton Inn Hazleton

A clean, well kept hotel with excellent front desk. There were several hotels in the area 20 cheaper but they were poorly rated and 1 star. Hampton has always been a solid choice and I can count on a minimum level of business amenities and quality. I was not disappointed. My only grievance was that I was woken by crashing noises outside my window before the sun had even risen. It seemed to go on for a while. At first light I took a peek and noticed a dumpster had been placed just outside my window. It would be nice if this were moved to the other side of the lot away from guest rooms.

I was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was. I never stayed at a Hampton Inn so it was worth the money. I also loved the view of the valley! Absolutely a must see if staying there.

Good, neat and clean hotel. It is right on the highway so try and get the valley view rooms, it is quieter. Nice rooms and breakfast. the only issue was that the front desk staff were not friendly.

It was a nice clean hotel with a nice free breakfast. The price was right and the view was beautiful!

I accidentally took off the sheath and I found out the pillows were filthy

Hotel was fine lobby was under construction Rooms were nice We had a view of the parking lot other side of hotel had a great view of the valley below very pretty

The view is great from one side of the hotel...not so great on the other so make sure to get the right room. We checked in late so were given a ground floor ADA room with a view of the front of a car in the parking lot. The room was not as clean as I would expect, the bed was very lumpy and the bathroom not worth speaking of. Being on ther ground floor, we could hear everyting going on in the check in area and the AC was very loud. I would ot reccommend it for any more than a quick stay if travelling. The view is great, though, so enjoy a coffee out on the deck.

The staff was great. The hotel has a deck with a nice relaxing view. The beds looked like they had lumps in the covers. The bedding must have been washed incorrectly. But, I can say the beds were comfortable.

We were in Hazleton to see some old friends and decided to stay at the Hampton Inn. Service at this hotel was great. Have always enjoyed the breathtaking views of the sunset from the back deck and outstanding meals at Top of the 80's Restaurant.

It was in a good spot and the staff was amazing.

The motel was very nice with a fabulous view. Our room, however, was overlooking the covered entranceway and beyond that the highway. The adjoining restaurant was very expensive and their patio (with a fantastic view) was closed.

The room was really clean and quiet even though it was ground floor near an elevator. The valley views are spectacular. The deck is great as is the breakfast. One tiny quibble is the smokers on the deck. Beautiful scenery, but I wish they'd light up elsewhere! Other than that, this is a fabulous hotel, and I'd recommend it.

We were there for a family gathering in the area. The Hotel was a perfect location for our event travel. The daily Continental breakfast is very good and generous for you while you stay. My only complaint was that I made a reservation for 2 non smoking rooms for me and my family. When we checked in we were assigned on 2 different floors. I had one room on a smoking floor and one on a non-smoking floor. I did ask to change to one floor-they stated that I needed to request on making the reservation. It wasn't necessary to have them connecting but on the same floor would be preferred. They were booked and we were able to get a handicapped room on the 2nd floor(which was a smoking floor) and ended up being a smoking room. That was the disappointment that I had made reservations months in advance and ended up on a smoking floor with having to take a smoking room to be with other family members. It was a lesson learned to request same floor and not only a non-smoking room but a non-smoking floor.

I had to change rooms twice once I checked in. In the first room the safe was not operable. The second room was close to a room with a dog barking constantly. (This hotel allows pets in rooms which will rule out this hotel in the future.) The staff was accomodating, but had to overcome some negatives.

The location was great and the personnel was excellent! They worked with us on the parking of the trailer we towed; they answered our questions and were friendly and courteous. By the time we left, we felt like we were leaving family. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Once again, breakfast staff was great.

The Hampton at Hazleton had a pleasant atmosphere and courteous/helpful staff. The view from our room and the outside patio off the dining area was breathtaking. Room setup was great except that the one switch in the bathroom area operated both the light and fan, so the fan (noisy) had to be on whenever you needed the light. Extra pillows and ample supply of towels made it a comfy stay. Room setup offered sitting area, desk area and sleep area, all making the visit work well.
