We stayed in the room with the private balcony which was well worth it for the views and watching the sunset! All the staff are really helpful and can basically organise anything you fancy doing in Havana. The location is great - you can walk to Havana Vieja in around 40 mins if you fancy it and there are loads of cool bars and restaurants in Verdado too. Cocktails are reasonable and delicious, and the views over the city are beautiful. Great place to stay!

I didnt know what to expect But I will always smile when I talk about Hostel Casavana. Warm staff from start to finish. Always attentive✔they even remembered what each of us ate/drank**,always helpful with suggestions/questions. LOVED Everything!! Food+Presentation✔IMPECCABLE tasty of course. Our favorite part was breakfast on the open balcony. Loved it and the staff. So helpful 💜💜. Always willing to answer our questions, make recommendations, give directions, etc. such a fabulous location too. Easy to walk to the waterfront, great restaurants nearby and a cooked to order breakfast too. We hope to return on another humanitarian mission to Cuba for Support of the Cuban people. We took toiletries that people appreciated so much. Crayons for the kids. We gave tips in toiletries taking a full suitcase of toothbrushes, toothpaste, crayons, coloring books, etc. the Cuban people loved it. Probably will head to Trinidad, Cuba next time. Cleaner, prettier, more paint, and a waterfall nearby. Go to Cuba. You won’t regret it!

This property dates back to 1950, not that you would know it. Well maintained, clean and in a great location. One of the best breakfasts we have had on our vacation - great spread for the western palate. I recommend trying to get a room with a balcony view.

Fantastic staff, amazing location, great views, good eateries near by with good value (and good snack food by the hotel) good breakfast, clean rooms. Bathroom in our room was tired - but spotlessly clean. Really good value for money and we will stay again should we return to Havana

Casavana was such a wonderful place to stay - spacious, clean, modern accommodations. Balcony views of the Malecon and parts of the city, including the Presidential Hotel. Breakfast includes fresh fruit and juices, muffins, Cuban bread, eggs, sandwiches, tea, and of course unending cafe con leche!! They have a bartender onsite to mix your favorite drinks, including a the best Mojito I had during my entire visit. The management team and staff are incredible! So attentive, helpful, caring, and professional. They truly become your family! They will exchange currency, run out and get something you need, prepare what you want for breakfast, and help with most anything else you could need during your stay. I hope to return to Havana and will definitely stay at Casavana again.

Terrific staff, helpful, attentive, caring. Great breakfasts - lotsa fresh fruit, fresh fruit juices, coffee, breads, eggs - you name it, they'll try and provide it, I was with a group touring the arts with pre-arranged events ao I can't comment on how centrally located it was. Within 1/2 block was a great italian restaurant.

Highly recommended for anyone visiting Havana for the first time. The rooms are clean and well appointed, the management team are knowledgeable and will go out of their way to help you. Breakfasts were a fantastic way to start the day, and the free WiFi at breakfast time was much appreciated! Don’t let the external appearance of the building put you off! The Vedado location means that a taxi (or a long walk) is required to visit Havana Vieja, but it also enabled us to see more of the city than many tourists will see! Local restaurants and cafes in Vedado were very good and reasonably priced. We travelled as a family of 4 (kids are 13 and 11). The Deluxe 2 beds room met our needs - although the hotel very kindly added an extra bed (without us having to ask) which made sure that the kids didn’t have to share a standard double. If we ever have the chance to return to Havana, we would certainly have Casavana at the top of our accommodation list!

Casavana Cuba is excellent value for money! Clean spacious room, large breakfast (omelette, toast, bowl of fruit, fresh juice, tea), phenomenal sky-rise city views, plus free Wi-Fi between 8 and 11am, which was a pleasant surprise for Cuba. The reception staff were there with a smile when we arrived at midnight, and Marcus and Ray worked tirelessly to help us retrieve our lost baggage from the airport (thanks again). At breakfast, we were served by Sabrina, who is very friendly, and delivers an excellent service, with tips and ideas for things to see and do in Havana! I hope to return.

The staff at Casavana led by Anna, Marcus and Danny certainly got our first visit to Havana Cuba off to a flying start. Nothing was too much for them, arranging taxis from and to the airport, welcome cocktails, booking restraurants and assisting with onward travel to Trinidad all was done with efficiently and a smile. Our rooms were spotless and well serviced and despite the restrictions common in Cuba the food was excellent.
