Room 111, one bed did not have two sheets. Other bed had dirty single sheet. They would not refund charge to credit card. Room only had two dim lights on wall, no wonder, they do not want you to see how dirty it was. Staff at front desk refused to give name of manager. Said was against their policy.
We were given room 212 during our stay. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, air conditioner worked very well. The shower was messed up, so we didn’t shower there. It was great for a bed to sleep in overnight. Do not sit in the chair by the microwave. This place used to be pet friendly, but is not anymore.
Kay, at the front desk, gave fantastic service. She was tremendous. The rooms were clean, but a bit run-down. It was inexpensive, so overall, we got good value. I think that when you out into context that during football weekends, rooms are hard to get, and almost all of them are much more expensive, this place is a bargain.
We booked this hotel because of Irma hurricane. We drove almost 24 hours to get there. It was dirty, filthy. We had to sleep in our clothes. There is a smell of cigarette everywhere!!!! We left first thing in the morning! NEVER AGAIN!!! This is no joke!
Had a camper so needed a place with a bigger parking lot. Sign said $41 but charged $69. First room we go had water still in the bathtub and no working lights. The whole place is a dump. The girl at the front desk was wearing house shoes when she waited on us. I have stayed in lots of inexpensive hotels on the way to state parks for camping but this one was the worst. Do not stop here.
Horrible. Need I say more?? Dirty bath cloth hanging in the shower. Dirty clothes behind the door. No door latch. Shower was nasty looking and ghetto (no other way to explain it). Door coming into the building closest to our room was broken. Definitely in need of and upgrade, major maintenance and CLEANING.
Has alot of potential. Right now it's simply a work in process. Lot of problems Wifi housekeeping you name it. One plus is the people who work there. They are really trying to make a go of this place. From Mgr Camille to maintenance man they are on it. Another plus is the pool. TV OK flat screens with about 40 channels. Hopefully they will get the funds they need to make the property a success.
Just dont go. Awful place. Very dirty. Some of the outside doors don't work so you have to walk around. Bugs in rooms. I can deal with some dirty places for a cheep rate bit this was gross. Brown water. All in all I just didn't feel safe or clean. I was denied a refund. When I asked for a managers business card he didn't want to give it to me. When he finally agreed to give her phone number he wrote it on a post it. The manager hung up on me several times with no call back. I then emailed with no response.
Let me start by saying I've never posted a negative review in 15 years of traveling regularly. This property looks fine from the outside and the inside looks ok too until you look close and notice lack of cleanliness. The manager (Camille King) works behind the desk also and it took her a half hour to check me in (even though I was the only one there). After charging my card she announces there is no cable (claimed it was due to a storm that I found out had been over a week earlier).When I asked about wi-fi in rooms she said it was available in the lobby but not all rooms. Then she said that there might be cable in a couple of rooms. I asked her to find one with cable and she left and returned with the announcement that she had found one. So, I go to the room and it's ok but door is hard to get in and out of because of placement of a cabinet. The toilet seat was only holding on by one bracket and didn't flush properly. I went to the office and asked for an ice bucket and the manager (Camille King) said she would have call someone to get me one and bring it to my room. I stayed 4 days and never got an ice bucket! The second day the lights in my room didn't work. I reported it to Camille King and she said maintenance was gone and I would have to wait til the next day. NO ONE EVER CAME TO FIX THE LIGHTS!!! 4 DAYS!!! Granted this was a very low priced motel but it seems that the manager doesn't think customer service is important. MY ADVICE, STAY HERE ONLY IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD ANYTHING ELSE! Oh, yes and breakfast is only available on Sat.& Sun.
This place is the most nastiest place ever to stay mole everywhere bad house keeping and most of all the most rude and hateful people ever working here Camile king is the most rudest up tight bitter old woman in the world come for a visit and end up in jail she is the wrong person to have tryn to run a business people please find some where else to stay
