Pictures make it look a little better than it was. Place is not well maintained and not worth the $48 dollars a night. I regret getting this and could not even stay a night with my family because we all decided it would be better not to get bed bug bites. Even for budget travelers this place is very low quality. Room has moldy walls, weird old smell to it. The smoke alarm was also beeping every 30 seconds or so. There were supposed to be 2 double beds in one room for my family but one of the double beds was much smaller than the other, only slightly bigger than a twin. Location was sketchy. Never coming back. There are better boutique hotels out there and much better to pay more for better quality.

Stayed 3 nights on my trip through Hanoi, the price was average for similar hotels in Hanoi, rooms are clean and staff is very firendly. They have spa services and you can get massage in your room if you want. The massage was that of Vietnamese standard - not impressed. The hotel promises high-speed internet, however out of the 7 or so available routers to connect to only two are connectable and they disconnect every 5-10 minutes. Quite annoying, especially if you try to book a flight and have to start over several times.

- This hotel in Ha Noi's Old town, that means, you have many many thing to go or eat around it. - Room is small, tiny, clean with TV, air-con, fridge... all in good condition, one thing missing that i founded was no kettle ( they offered instant coffee but NO KETTLE ) :'( , but anw, this not a big trouble. - Bathroom is good also, with Hot water always ready. - Price around 200-300/per day, this hotel is in Ha Noi old Town, therefore i think you cant find any cheaper one ( expect you got a couple). - I rate this hotel : 8/10

Moved from the Hanoi Travellers Hostel as an 'upgrade'. Told there was a lift but the room we stayed in was at the front of the hotel on 3rd floor without a lift. We booked a double but it was a twin room, outdated but clean. The sheets were ripped so they changed the sheets and pushed the beds together. Later we realised the bed seemed to have a bar across the mattress making sleeping very uncomfortable. Breakfast was mediocre - they had some pre-cooked local food, some fruit and bread and could cook tasteless eggs. The manager was friendly when he moved us, took us by motorbike (3 on a bike and no helmets) to this hotel. He also rang our cruise company to change our morning pickup. Overall for the price we have had much much better rooms and stays and would not come back.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Our first 2 nights, we stayed in room 201. Room is fairly clean, twin beds put together to make it king size. The bed sheet has some stains and hairs. i have stayed in bungalows in phu quoc and the sheets are softened and are fresh scents. So i started smelling the sheets of every hotels we’ve stayed, and this one has no smell at all. hopefully they are really replacing the sheets. ✌🏻 Bathroom has complete toiletry kits. However, they have plumbing issue, leakage on the sink, you may need to request more bathmats or your bathroom floor will be flooded. 201 is close to the stairs and reception area so you will hear some noise from the staff. Our third night, we stayed in 703 or top floor, i think they upgraded our room. The view is amazing, 2 windows and balcony. well you can only see “old quarter” houses. Room is clean and spacious. There are two beds (1 double, 1 single). The beds are fairly clean, no stains BUT I COULDN’T SLEEP ON DOUBLE BED, I had lots of bites from God knows what, I tried to look for bed bugs but none. My bite marks are a bit larger than mosquito bites. Red rashes around it and is very itchy. I transferred to single bed and it was fine. The next morning, the itch was gone but a dot bite mark still red. Again, the bathroom has leakage problem. shower and toilet is one room with no curtain separation so floor will be wet. Sink faucet has not cold water coming out, so brush your teeth in the shower. OVERALL STAY is perfectly fine. Location: 7-10mins to hanoi market (fri, sat and sun), and the lake. TIP: Before you book hotels through any booking app, visit the hotel and you can get good rates “lower” than what you see on the app.

this place is on the street which sells brass shower heads and handles. the hotel is fairly good, has clean and tidy rooms, but some rooms have leaky sinks and basins. plumbing could be improved. don't worry about the buffet breakfast.....

I was a bit wary of the hotel before my arrival. However, I need not have worried. The rooms are basic but clean. And for only a few £s, one can upgrade to a deluxe room which was more spacious and has a balcony overlooking the street. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They contacted a local tour operator for my friend and I when we were unsure of the details and made helpful suggestions about where to eat. In addition, they were extremely flexible with the rooms, allowing me to upgrade on arrival and even allowing a late check out at no extra charge (due to an evening flight). Would definitely recommend this especially if you're just after somewhere comfortable to sleep whilst sightseeing.

This little gem is in the old quarter of Hanoi. The people are real, the traffic is real, its dynamic, alive easily accessed part this city. I walk to most places using "". I have been here for a week already and i love having a window (in all 25 rooms) a simple, nutritious breakfast and being respected by the staff. You don't need perfect English/Vietnamese/French to care, or be cared for as a person here...

I booked through agoda at the cost of $30 singapore dollar for a one night stay. However.. the toilet door was not aligned properly.. you have to force close it. Secondly the shower cap was installed at the wrong position. Lastly.. you can only locked your door using key only.. there is no other alternative locking mechanism available. This is the 1st first time i come crossed such strange design which poised a safety hazzard

Location is great, it's right in the middle of the old quarter and walking distance to many of the attractions. Check in staff friendly, internet speed great, room spacious and comfortable with good air conditioning, comfy bed and powerful shower. I was towards the back of the hotel so very little noise disturbance. I didn't have breakfast included so can't comment on the food.
