This truly feels like a 5 star hotel. This place is beautiful down to the hardware in the shower. Every small thing was beautiful and chosen with thought. The rooms are spacious and clean with everything you could need including welcome fruit, waters, mini fridge, slippers and robe. Everyone here was amazing - from the front desk and concierge, to the people serving us breakfast or at the restaurant attached to the hotel, to those cleaning the rooms.

The food and location was great, I enjoyed the breakfast and coffee. It rained and the hotel had complimentary use of the umbrella. Took airport shuttle bus to the city, walked 20 mins to the hotel, took Grab to the airport.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times in between trips to Halong Bay, Sapa, Nihn Bihn etc... and I am always happy with the staff, breakfast, room quality and cleanliness. The staff are great! So many names to remember, as they all deserve recognition. Elliot at the front desk, Simon at the front door, and an always friendly smile and calming presence Kitty in the restaurant area. I wish I knew more and could remember more deserving names of staff to be recognized. Management should be proud of theor staff. Thank you fornl your hospitality!

A great little hotel in central Hanoi

A great hotel in central Hanoi. Only about 5 - 10 mins from Hoan Kiem Lake. All the staff we met were happy, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic, the Pho was really tasty and a good way to start the day. The room was a good size for the pair of us, but we did end up with a twin when we thought we’d booked a double. But the beds were comfortable and we both slept well. Facilities were all there for what we needed. We had a couple of busy days in Hanoi and Hong Ngoc was ideally located for us, there is even a great laundry just up the road to get your washing done for 50k Dong / kg. I’d definitely recommend this location.

Travelled with family of 4, stayed for 5 nights in street view rooms (not much to see thru the windows). Friendly & helpful staff. Tra helped booked day trips to Ha Long Bay & Ninh Binh. Vinny & other staff were also friendly & helpful with information on sightseeing around the area. The food were authentic & tasty. Our rooms were spacious & clean with the old charm. Hotel has good hot water, but bring your own shampoo & hair conditioner
