stayed here for 3 nights with my friend. Nice room and clean. Staff cleans the room and changes the towel everyday. The location is near to temple of literature, train station, fresh market etc. Very friendly and helpful staff, they provided everything we asked and gave us nice suggestions. You guys shouldn't miss this place. :)
So cheap so its hard to fault! Its down a very narrow road which is a food market and incredibly cool to take a look down during the day time! The breakfast is good, best breakfast I've had all through my time in Asia. Especially if you are British and need a good tea! For tours, you can get picked up from here! Although, if you can, try to avoid asking anyone to drive down the road of the hotel. The locals will get annoyed. Rooms are not what you see in the pictures. We got the biggest room but its is not as big as it looks nor is it as clean or nice. The 'balcony' is in typical Vietnamese fashion, you're lucky if you can stand out on it. The walk to the city centre, consists of crossing busy roads, as does walking anywhere in Hanoi, its about a 20 min walk, which is not bad as there is a lot to see on the way.
I was dropped off at the end of the alley pictured below around 10pm. It was difficult for the taxi driver to find alley and uncomfortable for me to walk down alone The lake, old quarter, night market is a 20 minute. A huge inconvenience to change and freshen up for the night. The next day I asked the staff about the lowest rate and cheapest room I could get for the next 2 nights because I was working in my room the following day then leaving. After the woman at the desk called her manager I was told the best rate was $34 and I booked the rooms directly with the desk Later the same day I saw on their website the rate was actually $17.00 The excuses were...... 1. “our technology isn’t up to date 2. I wish you booked thru the website instead of with the desk. 3. You made the deal with the desk not on line so it was too late to get the deal( based on misleading information) 4. Last I was told there were no rooms available at the $17.00 rate. BUT the next up grade was $20.00 and then $25.00 THE MANAGEMENT DID NOT HONOR THE PRICES ON THE WEBSITE I got a $5.00 credit There are amazing places in the middle of the action for $25.00 a night so I decided to stay 3 more nights. Thank god I gave HaNoi a second chance I love Hanoi
Nice room. Clean with fresh towels. The shower curtain was missing, so the whole bathroom got wet when showering. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We got a free upgrade when we arrived, and they helped us with booking a trip to halong bay. The location could be better, kind of in a back alley a bit outside old town
This hotel have very unique staff. They are accommodating, attentive and approachable. They even allowed me to take a shower went I went back to grab my this before heading yo the airport even though I have already Check-out. The rooms are clean and there is a very strong flow of water for the bathroom. I just recommend to have their safe box more functional and add some menu entries for the breakfast! The place can be easily located and it is near to the temple of Literature. The street turns into a busy market during the day but it’s perfect. I was able to buy some food from The market. You can really witness from the area how a typical Vietnamese work for a living. The location is also near to a certain train station. Most of all, The price is cheap and worth it.
Outside the hotel is a market but it is not noisy. I find it convenient. Flower, the hotel staff, was very accommodating. I mean I am so pleased with her service. She was wonderful. I already checked out and she agreed to let me use a room to freshen up before my next travel. She was very responsive even before I checked in. She helped me arrange a tour and even upgraded my room. I would send her an email and she responded right away. I am so grateful and glad that I chose this place. I would recommend staying in this hotel.
We went there for a few days and we left with a sense of satisfaction. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly. The location is very good because it is near to the food market and the center. Its a nice option compared with the money.
Excellent hotel , clean and close to everything , most incredible staff, friendly and responsible, trying to help in everything you need , all receptionists speak English , so it’s very easy to talk to them, i wouldn’t hesitate to come back again.
Good location, very close to Train Station, reasonable Rate. We arrive at Hotel at 5.30 am at Hotel after long Trip from Sapa-Hanoi. The young man (the staff) at Reception with black hair-band was very very nice and helpfull. He help us aloot with information, also arrange Taxi with reasonable price. About the room, i think old style interior. we got a room with window but let’s me said window but no window because no view at all (infront of the window is directly the big wall from Hotel’s neigbourhood). The bed is very hard coz old matras😂 I think they should change the matras😭 Also the insulation system. Hotel’s Location exactly at midle of Market. which is the noisy from Market and traffic street, all the time in our room. we stayed just for one night because the Location is close to train station for transit one night in Hanoi. It is ok for one night here. The Toilet is seems clean enough. only they have to improve the Matras, Noisy insulation at window and other staffs must learn to be more friendly.
My room was really clean and had everything I needed. The location is nice, easy walking distance down nice small roads to areas like Temple of Literature and amongst an exciting local market. It is also within walking distance to the old quarter - maybe around 20mins or so. The staff were great and made me feel very welcome and supporter. All round great value for money and nice place. I would definitely use this place again.
