On a very busy street but surprisingly quiet. We were able to find better hotel for similar price for other nights in hanoi

Ok budget hotel in old quarter. Room was next to busy road on bridge. Old quarter is pretty filthy. Room was clean.

The list of complaints is too long to post..but to start with the description of the hotel and location are absurd. it is not in a tranquil setting by any stretch of the imagination..it is right in front of a freeway off ramp and noisy 100% of the time. the hotel staff were relatively nice and helpful but they need to learn some basic manners when it comes to service. I was asked to move rooms after a couple of nights stay so that someone else could have my room with a larger bed. then when they moved me to another room they came and asked if they could have one of the beds in it. miraculously 2 days later the same bed reappeared only without any sheets or bedding on it. it just hungout in my room bare for the rest of my stay there. the breakfast was horrendous. I had to repeatedly ask for my free drinking water and toilet paper and my toilet ran all night. this hotel is really about a 1 1/2 star hotel. you can get a much better hotel in hanoi for less money. by and large the people working there were quite nice but the upper management is the problem in my view. this place should go for about 20 bucks a night. AVOID AT THIS PRICE UNLESS YOU ARE STUPID LIKE I WAS.
