All I can say is that the Bootmenders B&B is an amazing place to stay. We stayed in the cottage for two nights a family of 5 adults and were very comfortable indeed. Bedding and beds are very comfortable and a good nights sleep is guaranteed. Breakfast cooked by Jenna and either delivered or eaten in the main house is superb and not to be missed. In all you can relax looking at the fantastic grounds and taking in the glorious surroundings and sounds. I cannot recommend a stay enough, I for one will be returning.
The three night stay in the very comfortable Barn was a wonderful way to finish our stay in the UK. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful and breakfasts were freshly cooked and made to order. We asked for advice on things to do and also made our way to the locals' pub with ease for the evening meal. Best wishes, Mary and John.
A lovely stay in a lovely part of the country. Everything clean and tidy, the barn is a perfect size for a couple and a dog to stay for a few days.We have already booked a return trip in August. Can't wait.
We stayed here for a short break on Friday and Saturday night. You really are in the middle of nowhere with stunning views. The room was large with a lounge area, nice bathroom and even your own kitchen. The bed was extremely comfortable. The icing on the cake was breakfast. Delivered to your door an English breakfast that was truly superb. The owners are really friendly and look after you really well. We will return in the summer so we can enjoy the outside space at the back of the room as well.
The most comfortable B&B in the picturesque Hampshire countryside near Froxfield and Petersfield. Beautifully run by the lovely Jeremy and Jenna. Rooms are in separate buildings and have everything you could need. Breakfast is a triumph!
We stayed at Bootmenders as we were going to a wedding at Tithe barn and it was a lovely experience. We had a separate barn conversion so didn't have to worry about keeping anyone awake. The decor is lovely - lots of lovely neutrals and Sep kitchen area and a lounge part in the bedroom. I believe people stay here when visiting goodwood and there are lots of F1 prints around the place. Breakfast was a lovely selection of eggs/bacon/ granola /yoghurt etc ... Delivered to our barn. I believe you can have it on the hour but suited us perfectly. I would defo recommend - also the owner was very helpful sorting taxis and very welcoming - thank you!
What a super find, was looking for somewhere near Farnham and this come up. Had a slight difficulty finding it, but once we what a super little cottage. The children enjoyed running around the garden after a long car journey, They enjoyed exploring, and bouncing on the trampoline. We asked Jenna to recommend a pub for dinner and she said the pub with no name.what a lovely meal we had there. She even brought us Easter bunnies. The breakfast provided was superb there was so much choice, definitely when away happy
We live in Sydney Australia and have recently booked Bootmenders B&B for our third stay in September 2016 as we will be attending the Goodwood Revival again next year. Owned and so well run by husband and wife team, Jenna and Jeremy, we stayed previously at Bootmenders in September 2012 and 2014. Located just west of Petersfield in the most idyllic rural country lane location, it is a very easy 30 minute car trip to the Goodwood car park via some great British B roads. We always stay in "The Barn" which is a beautifully appointed one bedroom self contained apartment and idea for a single or couple. You can also stay in "The Cottage" which sleeps up to five. Both accommodation facilities are on the grounds of the property and importantly, separate to the house. The room decor, the beautiful touches in the bathroom and the very comfortable bed all have Jenna's touch. If you are into classic cars, The Barn is adorned with motoring memorabilia and photographs of Jeremy's links to Goodwood and F1 in the '60's. Jenna prepares a great breakfast in the main house each morning, the Bootmenders grounds are beautiful (Jenna is a garden designer so her gardens are stunning) and the surrounding rural countryside is a joy. The internet coverage in The Barn isn't great but excellent in the main house so answer your emails and check Facebook at breakfast. We highly recommend Bootmenders to everyone. It is a fabulous place to stay.
This cottage is located in rural area with wonderful view for the surrounding landscape. The amazing garden is like in the legends and it's end with natural forest. The cottage was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Nice and rich breakfast was served in the owner house. Despite the feeling the you are in very remote area, the driving distances for many attraction is less than an hour. We were very happy that we chose this place in our trip to south England. The only drawback is the lack of internet in the cottage
Finding Bootmenders was a bit difficult as the cottage is set in the middle of a quaint village. On arrival we were greeted by the owner who showed us to the cottage and what a beautiful cottage it was. The property had a rustic, farm feel with a modern twist with a full working kitchen, beautiful bathroom and huge bed. The owners have put a lot of thought into small touches from cotton pads and nail files to milk and water in the fridge. I will most definitely be returning to this B&B and was sad to leave!!
