The hall decor is certainly unique there was a small livingroom at the end of our floor with what seems to be antique pieces. Each room had a certain historical feel to it. Staff is quiet and discreet, but available to help. There is no breakfast included and they only serve that on weekends. Overall, best for an overnight)

I do not usually leave negative rewiews... but our bathrooms had other people's hair on the floor in 2 of the 3 rooms we had and it was overall just dingy. The restaurant I would not recommend we were 4 people for breakfast no one else in the restaurant and it took 45 mins to an hr to get our food. Positives the beds were comfortable, within a few mins walk there is a great little lake and some nice little coffee shops/Cafe. Also a bunch of food trucks nearby. Overall it was ok but wouldnt stay again.

Overall dingy, covered up by a cheap renovation. In the corners of the bathroom were dirty, maybe mould and shower had broken tiles. Beds had seen better days but the creepiest was that the windows are glued shut, they cannot be opened so the only source of air was through the air conditioning unit.

Obviously this is not a 5 star property. With that being said we enjoyed our stay here. It was exactly what we needed, a place to sleep and in the middle of everything we needed to get to for the week. The hotel was priced accordingly and we will stay here again next time we are in Halifax.

Property is decent condition, area surrounding it is a bit sketchy , lots of cigarette butts in the parking lot , garbage can in front overflowing, the AC units need attention the room we were in first the unit was never cleaned in 20 plus years and we had to move to a different room they need new AC units or at least clean the ones they have
