Our rooms were always kept clean and staff friendly. We enjoyed the convenience of being able to have our breakfast right there instead of looking for a place outside. My daughter used the pool once and it was very clean and towels were available on site. We only had supper there on Sunday evening and the food was very fresh and really good. I totally enjoyed the Seafood Chowder with the tea biscuit. A total meal! Wouldn't hesitate to book the Best Western should the need arise in the future.

Johanna at the front desk found me an upgraded room because she noticed that there would be a big group around me on NYE who might be “ a bit noisy.” The room was beautiful with a view of the lake and very comfortable, and Bonnie kept it spotless during my stay and was very friendly and kind. I was impressed by the food at the restaurant; the menu is varied and everything I ate there was excellent. They also have a small but good wine list and a large selection of local beer. The breakfast buffet has a variety of choices and is well maintained. The location is convenient and there is parking available. Also close to a bus route and walking distance to Halifax Shopping Centre. Will definitely stay here on future visits to Halifax.
