Very Princely !! Excessive Cost of parking at their covered garage. Interesting restaurant but also pricey.

Pool was great and never busy. The common areas were dark, the bathrooms were very dated. Pillows were all different. Staff informed us there was laundry on site, it’s not, it’s a couple of blocks away at another sister hotel. Restaurant and room service was good.

Didn’t like that the room I reserved didn’t have a big tub. I reserved the king suite. A little disappointed.

After a flight delay in Indianapolis resulted in us missing our connecting flight to Halifax, we were a little stressed. We arrived at Halifax only to find out our baggage missed the rescheduled connection; our reserved rental car had been given to someone else, and all the other agencies at the airport were booked. The staff at The Prince George facilitated transportation and a replacement rental car the next day, and did a great job of calming our nerves.

Wonderful experience. Friendly staff, clean room & hotel. Lots of patrons enjoying amenities of hotel bar and restaurant.

Hotel personnel were great. Comfortable bed and hotel close to downtown

Clean, comfortable and kind of stylish with excellent restaurant. Very good sleep. Only a few blocks from the waterfront but also only steps from the Citadel and the Public Garden. Love the complimentary parking, too. Nice spot in a nice city.

I thought from the description, that the hotel was an old classic property .. Wrong .. It was kind of pretentious, without a reason to be so, and the front desk clerk was not too friendly when we checked in. $22.00 to park overnight seemed quite steep to us for Halifax. Fitness center with pool was nice, but lacked an excercise bike, just had a spinning bike which i don't use, and have never seen on any other fitness center. No major complaints, just "ordinaire"

My husband and I loved the Prince George. Everyone was so helpful. The Hotel was lovely. Very clean, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Although a brief stay the hotel was very comfortable & the rooms were large. Great service and the staff very polite. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Walked all over downtown. Many good restaurants and attractions nearby.

This is one of the best hotels in Halifax, located right in the heart of all the action. It's clean, luxurious and the service is above average. They gave us a free upgrade and patiently helped with our dinner reservation plans -- even when we changed our minds, more than once. The restaurant is definitely the finest in the city (my husband's a chef and I'm a spoiled foodie). Don't consider staying anywhere else, especially at these rates! I was a satisfied cutomer returning and we'll definitely visit again...kudos to the owners and staff on a job well done!

It was our first time in Halifax and our first time staying at the Prince George Hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel as a base for exploring the city, as it is convenient to the convention center, the Citadel, shopping and great restaurants. It is located near the highest point of Halifax, so the walk up from the waterfront area could be strenuous for some folks. However, we found it delightful. We stayed on the Club(?) floor, so enjoyed the wonderfully comfortable bedding and breakfast served in our room each day. We arrived earlier than the normal check in time, but were readily provided a room. The concierge service was truly outstanding. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful...and they appeared to truly enjoy their job. We had lunch in Gio, one of the restaurants in the hotel and it was very satisfying. I would certainly recommend this hotel to those visiting the city. A great boutique hotel.

Nice place. The restaurant for Breakfast was nice/ very good food. The waiter we had was happy and friendly Nice rooms, Pillows soft but that is about it
