Staff was amazing. Rooms were very clean. Not a noisy hotel. Will absolutely stay again. Fitness centre is amazing! Pool was slightly cold. No fans in the bathroom. Can hear noise from under doors but not bad.
A short way from downtown, and almost directly off the bridge, you'll find this Dartmouth gem. The front desk staff were super friendly, but the staff during breakfast were not attentive in the slightest bit. The King Bedroom Suite offered spectacular views of the entire harbor and downtown, and had lots of space.
Conveniently located, friendly staff, impeccable rooms...loved it! First time at this location since becoming a Hilton and was so impressed at changes. The staff were very welcoming and all requests were met with ease. Highly recommend!
I stayed the end of June, first week of July 2019, great customer focused from check in through the entire week to check out. I was struck by the friendly, helpful staff, greeted with a smile. Anita was awesome in the restaurant each afternoon. Starbucks staff were great each morning too. The front desk staff gave great directions to the mall, the ferry landing and other points of interest.
This hotel was a pleasant surprise for my business meetings in the Dartmouth area. The location next to the MacDonald bridge was very convenient for short trips over to Halifax and close to the new CoveOcean facility on the Dartmouth side. Don’t forget that the chef will make any breakfast request you want so the buffet choices are not your only option. Staff here is friendly and rooms are newly renovated, clean and feature the latest design touches. This is my new go to hotel for Dartmouth.
It's clean. The pool is small, expect no extras like a jacuzzi, steam room, or robes. The parking is $14 which is not included in the price, I was told the parking lot is not secured but they do have cameras. The front desk told me they were sold out for the next day. I went upstairs and in the elevator checked and indeed there were rooms open. I did not book though because my balcony room overlooking the harbour, was really a slice of the harbour over a sea of air conditioners. Loud, noisy, air conditioners. Many, many, loud, noisy air conditioners. The warm cookies were great. The rest of the staff very kind and outgoing. It is also a stone throw from the ferry which is a great feature.
Check in was super fast and friendly, even got a warm cookie. the room was a great size, very comfortable bed and bathroom. Everything was very clean and all the staff were very nice. Would recommend to anyone.
Excellent location for a visit to Halifax. we had a room with a balcony overlooking Halifax Harbor, and it was a short 5-10 minute walk to the water taxi that takes you across the harbor to Halifax. The hotel itself was modern and clean, and the staff was exceptionally friendly (front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping). My only complaint would be the $14 per day parking fee, but that's a small thing. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Nova Scotia.
Spent an overnight stay here with my wife. Hotel very comfortable, very happy with room. We had an issue with our room key and the lady on reception came back with me to check the issue. She did get us into the room with her pass key and said she would get maintenance to look at it. They were there within minutes and fixed the issue. Good to see the staff owning a problem to resolution. There was obviously a staffing issue in the restaurant, breakfast service was poor and this is the reason for marking the rating down. However, we would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.
I was able to check in online prior to arrival which made check-in a breeze. The staff at check in was very friendly and had a good natured fun vibe. The atmosphere was welcoming and the dining options are convenient, with a Starbucks and in-house restaurant located within the hotel. My room was clean and I enjoyed a restful sleep on the comfortable bed and pillows. I have stayed at this hotel before and will likely return when I am back in the area.
