Costs to park.....that is unfortunate, it sucks.................
Went for a wedding. Everyone stayed in the hotel and the wedding was held here. Nice place! Close drive to all the great sights.
very unfriendly staff, they charge us 30 Cdn dollars for a very small dog.
Good food, reasonably priced, good location, but noisy. Loud guests. Room too close to staff entrance and exit.
The other guest were very loud and the staff were noise. We were in a room right beside the staff exit we could hear them complaining and being noisy. Great location close to the bus stop and ferry.
We're pretty quiet people and we went to this hotel just for a one night stay on New Years eve. The hotel seems to be recently renovated, front desk was really nice. Restaurant was pretty much empty and the waitresses were the nicest I've ever met. They brought a candle to our table and the food was great. The only thing to improve could have been the beds which were a little hard. We had a business harbourview room which was pretty big great view. Overall great stay, super nice staff, would reccomend.
An overall good experience, Your basic Holiday Inn, neither better nor worse than others of its kind. Although the hotel itself is not conveniently located, it has excellent access to cheap and convenient public transit.
definitely had much better experiences in cheaper hotels/motels. the room was clean, but awkwardly laid out [example: the sink was across the hall from the bathroom and the light switch for the sink area was on the opposite wall]. the entire hotel felt out of date and in a rundown neighborhood. parking fees were outrageous, staff was indifferent, and having to pay the bridge toll every time we crossed into and left halifax was very very annoying. would never return to this location.
