Was there for week and chose due to location. The only thing missing was a chalk outline of a body....Be warned there are only two floors designated non-smoking. The windows only open about four inches. There is no A/C (we changed rooms and requested maintenance for three days. I finally gave up). I though the parking valet was being friendly and practicing English until he tried to kiss me on the mouth. The staff and breakfast were the two shining points of this stay.
I have stayed in this company hotel before and have always had and got good services and I was not disappointed this time either. From check in and to check out my stay was excellent.I would stay here again when I come back just had a wonderful time. All staff were so warm and friendly to me and my future wife.
The rooms are dirty. The bathtub is full of rust. The carpets full of stains. Rooms are stuffy with musty smell. Hotel refused to open AC. stay away from this hotel. I would give zero out of five if I could. I have stayed in many hotels in China. This is the worst
Very good transportation ,The hotel located at downtown, and the location is very good for local food and supermarket.there is a Wal-Mart supermarket near the hotel.I went for a business meeting and I was really glad about the hotel. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Thanks for them !Overall my stay is pleasant and comfortable!
My girlfriend and I stayed at the Ramada for a long weekend recently. Despite having stayed in excellent Ramada properties in China before (notably in Shaoguan), we were both bitterly disappointed by Guiyang's offering. I will review the few positives before discussing improvements. Firstly, after being shown our booking (a standard double room), we were very unhappy about the room. The windows had a thick layer of dirt on the outside; there was no privacy between the toilet area and main bedroom other than a thin clear glass partition; the accrid smell of stale smoke (almost unavoidable in Chinese hotels of this calibre admittedly); old and worn furniture and carpeting. After complaining to the front desk (no English speakers) we were kindly offered an upgrade to the top tier room (suite) which was much better but still some problems such as the safe not opening, the fridge not working, poor AC, etc etc. This upgrade was really the only positive we had during our stay. The staff were very courteous and helpful when possible but a lack of English speakers made things tricky. Luckily the duty manager, Angel, spoke very good English and was a superb host. The hotel breakfast was poor and worse still the regular restaurant was being refurbished during our stay which meant banging most mornings in the temporary restaurant on the third floor. Breakfast service ends at 10am which I felt was a little early. The location is not bad - close to QianLing Park (worth the visit) and a good mall up the road. But the state of the traffic in Guiyang, easily one of the most congested cities I've visited, made further afield travel tiresome and time consuming. To summise, I would say spend a little more and book the Kempinski or the Pullman as the Ramada needs a huge cash investment and more refurbishment to bring it into the 21st century.
The Ramada Plaze Guiyang Hotel is a first class hotel where the staff and management team make sure that all of your personl needs are met prior to arriving, during your stay and continues after your departure, MS. Maggie Li defines the word hospitality and service. Her smile is gracious and genuine. And her housekeeping team is done perfect and made me comfortable as a clean room. To sum it up, the Ramada Plaze Guiyang Hotel is place to be and the stay……the general manager has hand picked team that exemplifies service! Bravo
We had great experience here, Hotel room was up to cleaning and housekeeping standards，Staff treated guests with respect and friendiness，especially the housekeeper saw our every needs . Breakfast was tasty and I was so into the hot entree！！！
The staff was friendly，and alway helpful during our entire stay.Hotel room was upscale and lots of space，free wifi was high speed ，so convenient for business traveler. I also received a local specialty gift from the reception team when checkd out. Anyway,I would love to go back next time I am in Guiyang for business.
It was extremely well-decorated, clean, and comfortable, and the construction quality was good. The hotel has an excellent restaurant on the first floor. Very well-prepared Guiyang-style dishes that brought us back for a second dinner. The staff at the hotel was in every way gracious and helpful. We were one of the very few American guests during our stay, yet from the front desk to restaurant staff, all treated us with warmth and hospitality. Quingling Park is close by and wonderful for exercise and hiking. We can heartily recommend the Ramada Plaza Hotel in Guiyang.
We stayed in this hotel for a business trip. The front desk staff can speak English, the rooms are quite big and very clean. They have a free wifi. The breakfast has lots of western choices and delicious foods. I will certainly stay in this hotel in my next visit.
