Great Home, Terrible Host

The property is in a golf community and you have to go thru gated security to enter. No problem, but it sure becomes annoying that this has to occur each and every time. One would think once you've checked in the 1st time you would be given a sticker on the car that you are there for these dates. As for the house, it's a really nice home that meets all the needs of the guests. My one area of complaint is with the house manager. I messaged him several times prior to the date of arrival asking what we would need to gain entry and for directions. His response didn't come until minutes before arrival and we had already gone down the wrong road using Google maps on the VRBO location. Secondly, once we arrived we were only met by the cleaning lady and very little explanation of the house and it's amenities were provided. It wasn't until that night they we were unable to figure out how to turn the family room tv on, there were 3 remotes available and none were for the tv available in the community area. I reached out the to the manager and i was told to download an app on my phone, the problem with that is the tv needs to be on the same wifi and you're unable to do this without a remote. He said the one remote should work in the bedroom tv, which it did not. many cables and wires were lying around and not plugged in so imo there was no pre-check on the property before arrival to assure all was in working order. I was made to feel that the situation mine to resolve. 0 stars for him.
