Great value and views

We stayed 1 night here in early May and were very satisified with everything. It is located on a hill in the suburbs so might be a bit difficult to get to without a car. With car we found it easily and parked ok on street. Covered hotel parking was available. The staff were very helpful and some good English. The room was large, clean and comfortable with terrific view over farmland and hills. Buffet breakfast included in price was excellent as also was the 15 Euro buffet dinner. Wifi worked well. Very good value.

Excellent, but not good for vertigo!

Really excellent for a 3 star - attentive service, quiet and plush rooms. Didn't have time to try the restaurant, but the menu looked varied and inventive. Views are impressive, but the guard rails outside the windows are far too low on the 2nd floor. Keep the window closed and use the aircon!

We stopped for one night on our way from the Algarve to the Douro Valley. The hotel was a little older but very well maintained. The rooms were clean and the staff were very accommodating. Breakfast was quite good. My only complaint was that the bed was very hard.

El hotel es moderno y está muy cerca del centro. El personal es muy amable, la habitación estaba muy limpia y el desayuno era bastante aceptable. Además, existe una zona de aparcamiento público justo al lado del hotel, si bien existe la posibilidad de aparcar bajo cubierta en el parking del hotel por un precio razonable.

Großes Hotel

Das Hotel liegt an einer Ausfallstraße und von daher ist der Verkehrslähm hörbar. Es ist ein großes Haus, aber das fällt nicht auf. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet war umfangreich und völlig ausreichend. Der Weg zu Fuß in die Innenstadt sollte über einen Berg führen lt. Rezeption. Der war nicht gangbar, wir haben dann wieder das Auto genommen. Der Blick vom Balkon und auch aus der Bar über die Sierra ist traumhaft, ebenfalls der Sonnenuntergang.
