Appealing factor for staying at this hotel was that they provided transportation to/from the Canton Fair. It is in an interesting neighborhood. When leaving the hotel make sure when you grab a taxi that you negotiate the fare prior to getting in or make sure they turn the meter on. Many people that take a taxi will get charged double or more when they don't turn the meter on.

small room. Hotel located in a suburban area of Tian He. Not a major tourist attraction but surrounded by residential building. 15 mins walk to underground train station. If you don't mind the location and wants to feel how locals live then this is a place The room is small but clean as I travel alone. They subdivided the floor into many rooms so my window view is the window view of the next room. They also offer condom in the room at a price for some special need. The breakfast is pretty basic and close to vegetarian type, however it tastes good. The place is surrounded by cheap local restaurants. Always a option to try different food if you don't like it. For me, I wanted to feel local and certainly a good experience for me. If you want to try "real Tian He" shopping atmosphere then this is not a central place for you.

It was very nice. Close to the metro subway station. The room was clean every day, the staff's were amazing, the manager Allen was very kind and helpful and at your service. Super amazing. The staff will informed you when the buses are leaving to Canton fair. They do everything in their power to make sure you are safe and comfortable. The breakfast was good. Overall, i was comfortable and felt safe at the hotel. And i will sure stay there again next time.

Hotel is great. I have some suggestions to improve more. Wifi is very slow. Mini ref doesn’t work, they didn’t bother to replace it. Food for Breakfast is great but must change their menu everyday.

We stayed here while attending the Canton fair. The hotel is not located in the best neighborhood and is very difficult to find. Even some of the taxis had problems getting the address correct. Although the staff at the front desk could not speak English, they were friendly. The hotel transalators, Yancy, Becky and Alva were extremely helpful. On another note, be cautious of the restaurant at the hotel. The staff were nice but they would cheat you if they can. We got ripped off a few times and when we confronted the restaurant manager, who could not speak English, she said (via a translator app) that the prices were reflective of an updated menu. Of course they could not show us the new menu with the updated prices. Overall our experience was good but probably will not stay here again.

Bo Yi Hotel

The place was nice with free breakfast, but remember to not lose your coupons for the breakfast. The place is not that convenient as you have to walk about 15 minutes to get to the train station unless you want to take the bus. But the bus isn't as comfortable as the train. The wifi was ok, but make sure you have get your vpn before arriving.

My stay was amazing, I really enjoyed the "real" location of the neighborhood, the great service and prices! Daily housekeeping and cleanliness was outstanding.

Great neighborhood location close to city

I stayed in a suite for 5 nights with a friend and it was a very spacious and comfortable room for two. The extra sitting room was definitely worth the money. The beds were super comfy (firm) and the sheets really nice. The breakfast wasn’t to my liking but filled a hole, didn’t eat there otherwise. The bar staff did a great job being accommodating of our requests. The staff level of English was not great but we got by ok with apps. We were there for the Canton Fair and thought it was a great location, close to city but with a neighborhood feel with shops around and train station about a 10 minute walk away. My friends and all said we’d stay there again.

Very near to Canto Fair. Hotel provided transport to the fair. The PRO assigned to the bus are also very friendly. They even provide mineral water and biscuits when we boarded the bus after a full day at the fair.

Holiday at Guangzhou with Boyi Hotel.

Hotel stay is comfortable and customer service is good and informative. The food in the hotel restaurant is good and price is reasonable.Hotel is located in a matured village with alot of local food and amenities and market. Visitors can experience their daily livelihood.

It is not a luxury hotel and neither located in the best area that taxis can find it easily but it's located near Canton Fair which is great for who is in business trip and wants visit Canton Fair. Staff do not speak English but they were helpful.

Great for Canton Fair

Staff very helpful. Hotel hired many English speaking interpreters during the fair. Allen was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make it a great experience for all the guests. The shuttle service to an from the fair was not only convenient, but saved money for taxi's/metro etc. probably not a huge amount, but very valuable for foreign visitors, especially if you don't speak Chinese!

Good for Canton Fair, Comfortable

Stayed here for Canton Fair. They try hard to accommodate foreign guests. There is a bus that leaves 2-3 times in the morning as a free shuttle to canton fair and returns in the afternoon. At front desk, there was usually at least one person who spokes English very well. Breakfast was descent for Chinese hotel standards. Fruits, eggs, sausages, etc. The buffet / kitchen "staff" lack customer service skills big time. I understand its probably not in their job responsibility to interact with customers but i saw a lot of attitudes. For example: - I came right when the buffet should have opened in the morning. They give you tickets to use everyday as "entrance" to buffet. There was only one person in the buffet who was setting up the plates, so I gave her the ticket and she slammed it on the counter top and made it clear she is not happy about this... im guessing the person who should have been there to check tickets hadn't showed up and she was made at her/him? - Usually if there not enough space for two people to walk past each other, the hotel staff "yield" to the guest, no in the buffet, they will cut you off - There was a lady that was in charge of keeping the buffet clean, and she kept taking napkins from my table without even making eye contact with me. I mean its one thing if its emergency and you need to clean up a spill once but just walking over and taking napkins from my table while im eating? Carrefair super market, KFC, McDonalds within walking distance

Close to the trade fair pavillon

The hotel is OK. But transport arrangement to and from hotel is poor. Very difficult to get a taxi from hotel to the destination you want to go. Hotel does not offer a service to call taxi for patrons. Had to wait at the front door to catch a vacant taxi passing by. Sometime had to wait for more than 30 minutes to catch one. Then the taxi driver jacked up the fare by doubling it.

Convenient & comfortable

Checked into this hotel for the 2017 Canton Fair. Very happy with room size and cleanliness. Bed was very comfortable. Room was made up impeccably everyday. House keeping staff are always courteous and helpful. They can not speak English however the hotel has overcome the language barrier for peak periods when foreigners are staying with them by employing 3 young ladies that speak English who translate all your requests and needs to the hotel staff. Great touch having a courtesy shuttle bus to and from the fair for hotel guests. Only downside I can say would be the breakfast. Out of the five days I was there only 1 day it was hot and the rest of the time it was Luke warm at best. They could do well to invest in a proper coffee machine as the coffee was not the best. Also maybe a bit of variety in the breakfast selection wouldn't go astray.

Nice and Peaceful Hotel away from the subway.

Hotel is centrally located, cleanliness, peaceful, service are nice too but its a bit walk to the subway, Hotel tariff is reasonably good compare to its standard.
