Beautiful Hotel but the beds were really uncomfortable. I kept waking up at night because the mattress was really hard. I woke up with back and hip pain because it was that uncomfortable. Our room was near a walkway and so I was woken up early because of all the noise. People walking by, staff with a cart passing frequently, and the staff watering the plants on the other side of the wall from our room.

Close to the Plaza and very serene and safe. Easy parking which is worth something all by it self.

To small to move, no closet, small bathroom , very noisy with neighbors

This is a pleasant and relaxing place to stay while in Tequila. It is a short walk to the main square and most of Tequila.

I would like to Thank Mr. Carlos Avila and his entire team for making my stay at Los Abolengos a Very Pleasant Experience. I went for a destination wedding and it couldn't of been any more pleased. The Ladies at the front desk, Claudia, Andrea,Galaliea along with Carolina the head administrator, was also a delight. The team at the restaurant tended to my every needs and the food was spectacular. David at the bar had those strawberry Margarita's flowing and Modelo Especial Beer was cold in the icy mug. Lupe and the housekeeping ladies would keep my room spotless and the freshest and largest towels that I have ever seen and I have seen many hotels and towels in my life. La Casona, is what it say it is. " La Casona. Get out to Tequila, Mexico which is only 45 minute ride from Guadalajara and experience the life and the drink, called Tequila and make your home, Los Abolengos. Enjoy, Anthony

City location. Walk to centro. Nice amenities. Service was OK

A group of us spent 2 nights here for the annual Tequila festival. Make sure you get a room that it is in the rear of the hotel or else your room will be TINY. Although the hotel looks old it was actually built in the last year. It is 100% safe. And the restaurant is GREAT. The funny thing is...if you are there to do the tours at Cuervo, Cofradia, Fortaleza, etc....it turns out that you can buy the exact same bottle of Tequila for LESS at the HOTEL. They are all there!!! The dining room is very nice as is the patio. The WI-FI is free, but it doesn't work great in some places. Brush up on your Spanish!!! They do speak little bits of English but not much. But if you don't know a word of Spanish I think you will be OK. It is the best place in Tequila which has no foreign chains there to serve foreigners. It was actually referred to me by Guilermo Sauza himself. He lives in Tequila and owns La Fortaleza distillery. You must do the Fortaleza tour. IT IS THE BEST!! Cuervo is cool, too. Overall, if/when I go back this would be the only place I would stay in Tequila and I've stayed at Plaza Jardin among others.

This is the best hotel in town. I The place was beautiful, the rooms were relatively simple, but nice . The mattresses were top notch. Just make sure you ask for a room with two QUEEN beds. If you just ask for two, they will put you in a room with 2 twins and those rooms are tiny. The rooms with 2 queens are much more spacious. Oh yeah. They have free wifi here, and thats's definitely a bonus. You may only get it in certain areas, but you are here for vacation after all.

Cuarto amplio, muebles y cabecera de madera estilo colonial. Baño de mármol. Alberca agua templada, jacuzzi. Trato del personal. Todo nos gustó. Todo está nuevo!!

Excelente Ambiente y Trato super de su personal, volveremos a ese Hotel sin duda
