It is the best place for a family vacation. We had the best time ever. The staff are very nice and helpfull. The pools are very nice and the food was anazing. The kids couldn't get enough of the pizza and the ice cream...

Thermal waters lovely. Enjoyed being able to play a game of pool. Pleasantly surprised to find a fridge in the room (wish we had known). There is a little shop on the property and prices were not overly exaggerated. Coffee was provided at reception (we brought our own coffee pot, so I can't comment on the quality of the coffee). Across the street was a small family-run restaurant called El Globo that provided a delicious breakfast including hand-made-on-site-tortillas for a very reasonable price. It was raining the weekend we were there which made the experience even more enjoyable. Spa services overpriced (for a Mexican spa). No OXXO close - so pick up any little grocery needs before getting to the the hotel. Bed was slightly on the hard side. High prices for a hotel in Mexico - reasonable when compared to US/Canada. One thing that was off-putting was the silt in the water when using the jacuzzi tub in the room. It seemed worse right when we started to fill the tub. So, we put in a bit of water then swished and cleaned it out and filled it completely. Still, once the water was still there was a bunch of dirt at the bottom, but very fine so maybe it is not possible to filter it.

Ever been to a hotel that is family owned and watched over like their own children! well this is it the pools are wonderful, and service is spectacular, handicapped oriented rooms are being renovated as we speak, wonderful artsy ambiance!

We took a bus from Ajijic to the Cosala Spa, about a 15 minute ride. This is place is HUGE! Lots of pools and watersides, lots of kids and families but we preferred the adult only spas - one infused hot springs tub after another, including coffee, flowers, and citrus I believe. The final part of the spa was covering oneself with mud and letting it dry for the ultimate experience and then washing the mud off. This spa experience was an extra cost over the admission cost. My husband and i finished off this experience with a couples massage, another extra cost. It was our splurge experience for this trip and we enjoyed it! We did not stay at the hotel ,so ignore the hotel ratings which I had to give in order to submit my review of the spa.

We stayed here for a wedding a couple of weeks ago. We loved this place. We were in a 2 bedroom villa. It was big and spacious. They kept the grounds very clean and cleaned our room great every day. The hot springs were great to soak in. I would love to stay here again.

Came from California to visit GDL and my girlfriend booked a stay here for one night. We stayed in a 2 bedroom with a full kitchen, and in room whirlpool. This place was clean and the employees were nice and helpful. Located near lake Chapala,so these is lots to see and great food. Will stay again.

We were looking for a quick getaway from our Guadalajara work week so we took a taxi to Lake Chapala, only an hour drive. We really needed a pet friendly hotel and initially we were told that pets were not allowed. This place was made for pets. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with tons of vegetation and grass. After being told no from the receptionist we asked to speak with the manager who allowed us to bring in our two small dogs. The property is old but well maintained. They do not have a restaurant on site but they will run next door (another hotel) and get you food/drinks. Great location with lots of bars and restaurants in the neighborhood. We chose the “master suite” which was awesome. Again, pretty basic accommodations but clean and really nice. The hot springs/pools are right on site and really great as well. Great place!
