Updated rooms are very pleasant.

I Didn't think breakfast was included, but it was & it was good. I read reviews after I made the booking at the last minute and thought "Oh No," but the opposite was true. It has Mr. Crabs an amazing seafood place nearby. So GOOD. Ant the Submarine self-tour is super. Mystic Pizza is a real place & it has good pizza. Great family value.

The property is old and needs to be updated. First room smelled moldy. The second room was a bit better. However the bathroom was in bad shape. Paper was peeling off the wall. Bathtub had a lot of chips. The fridge was noisy. No water in the room.
Front of building covered with trash from over flowing bins. Our room was near a messy area with what appeared to be mold.
The whirlpool has been broken for two years, the ice machines are broken, our towel rack and toilet seat were broken. The fan and air conditioner in the room and bathroom were outrageously loud. The “complimentary breakfast” was a fruit cup, a granola bar, water bottle and apple juice. When I called to complain about some of this stuff the person at the desk was very rude and condescending telling me I should’ve called ahead of time to check the whirlpool status, though it says all over their sign out front of the hotel and website it’s in working order. The gym was disgusting and a health hazard. The only good thing was the location. Would never recommend this dump to anyone. For 400 for two nights, I’m beyond angry.
Was not at all what the pictures said, we wanted to used what we thought was a beautiful jacuzzi, instead we walked into what looked like a crime scene. Staff was friendly, but conditions were pretty bad.

Would you rent a hotel room with a non- working AC/ Heat unit, instead placing a cheap oil stand up heater in the room? Very old bathroom with no counter space
The staff were great at every step. The hotel has a ton of upside but is overdue for a refresh. Aside from that, it was a great stay.

I thought the hotel was decent, it was clean, the staff were nice enough. We didn’t use the amenities so I can’t comment on them. I will say they need better beds and blankets, the beds were super hard and the blankets were non existent.
This property is not well maintained. Very run down. Holes in the walls. This might have been a good hotel in the past but now it really needs a makeover. Staff is great though.
We loved the restaurant on the premises, Flanigans . Food was delicious, staff was great. All staff in hotel were friendly and accommodating. DIASPPOINTED that the hot tub was not functional and the pool had a filmy surface on it as if the filter wasn't working correctly. Staff checked chemicals and scooped and we swam, but only once because it felt dicey at best. so that was a letdown
