I have stayed there before many times and will never stay there again. Various problems I had in the past I hoped or just one time things. This time, I booked through Orbitz. For health reasons, I need to use the treadmill every day and knew that they have two at this facility. When I went into use it, one was marked with an out of order sign. The other one had no sign but did not work at all. I called the front desk and spoke with Michael the manager on duty and he said he would be right down. 25 minutes later, he had not shown up. I went to the front desk and he said he had simply forgotten we could come down now. By then it was after 11 o’clock at night and I was exhausted and had to go to bed. The next morning, when checking out, I asked for a copy of the receipt. I was told by the woman at the desk that I could not have one, because it had been paid through Expedia. I told her it was through Orbitz but that I just needed proof that it had been paid in full In a conversation that should’ve taken four minutes, but lasted over 20 minutes when I was on my way out and in a hurry, She said about 12 times that she could not give me any proof that I had paid because they are not allowed to print out receipts when the booking was through a third-party. I asked her how she could tell that I was paid up, and she said it shows on her computer. I asked her to take a screenshot. She just looked at me blankly. Your form does not give me room To complete the story.
Nice facility. Employees very friendly and helpful. Would have gave it a excellent review except it had a mildew smell as we entered lobby. First impressions are most important.
Overall, we were happy with the hotel. There isn't much in Kinston, so the location is about as good as it gets. However, every online listing stated that this hotel would have cribs available. Luckily, I called the hotel three days before our trip, and I was told that they have never offered cribs for guests. That would have ruined our trip if we hadn't checked and planned ahead.
Average at best. Youngstown-Warren Holiday Inn Express has a significantly higher standard.
2 attempts to get the hotel to agree to a refund for the 2nd reserved night which was not used have been unsuccessful. So far, the hotel has refused to agree to a credit for the unused night. The hotel is not in a very convenient place; back in a field by itself with a road to it that does not look like it goes anywhere. The room was okay, but the bed linens did not feel fresh and there was a visible stain on the comforter.
We actually arrived a day early and they honored our reservations without any problems. Great freindly staff. Would certainly stay there again if back in Kinston.

I stayed there because my son graduated from college in Greenville and all hotels were booked. We were slightly upset at the drive but when we arrived at the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised. Room was spacious, very clean, comfortable, movie theater and restaurant right next door!
Staff was extemely friendly and helpful. We got a 10% off coupon for Golden Corral next door within walking distance. Hot breakfast included was good. Nice room with a great shower and confortable bed.

Really well thought out...It was like a cheaper version of the Hyatt Place, all the amenities without the nice furniture.
It was quite adequated for a midrange hotel -- clean, quite,fair breakfast bar. It's a bit of a challenge for an early morning jog as the semi-rural setting has no streetlights nor sidewalks. Convenient pick up of forgotten items at shopping strip across the road.
