I was given a room by a back door in the back of the hotel. I went in to check it out and the window that was at ground level did not have any security feature. I could see dumpsters right in front of the window and a little further away I could see a storage facility. When I went to the front desk clerk and explained to the clerk that I did not feel safe being in that room by myself and if I could get another room on a higher floor of the hotel, the front desk clerk told me no, and that they did not have anymore rooms to rent, but there were people still coming in for check in. I had to leave for my own safety. The back door didn’t even have a safety feature. I have been to hotels where you have to have a room key to open outside doors other than the front door. The facility did not have that feature on the back door where the room they gave me was.
