They made excellent use of the space. The kitchen and bathrooms were very clean.m overall. Location was very convenient to High Point University. Host was super responsive to all requests. There is a form to fill out the four check-in. Make sure you don’t miss that because you won’t get the code without that. We appreciate it the host responsiveness in helping us deal with that when we had missed that. Kitchen had plenty of dishes, pots, etc, but no spices for cooking, just fyi. I find it’s about 50-50 with most rentals and whether or not they have those extra amenities. Would definitely stay here again.. There is a train that goes by at night so if you are sensitive to that type of noise, it’s something to be aware of. It didn’t keep us up, but on those nights that we were up a little later, I happened to hear it while reading in the bedroom. Again, the hosts were super responsive and kind and the location is fantastic for visiting HPU..

Cottage

Tranquility Cottage was a cute bungalow situated in a private off the road location. We had 3 adults and 1 infant on this 2 day trip. The house was clean and provided everything we needed. For our short stay this worked out great.

The cottage was a ways back from the road so it was nice and quiet. Communication with owner was great! Melanie responded very quickly to my questions. All in all I enjoyed my stay there.

It was just what we were looking for..cute, clean, and close to High Point University where our daughter plays lacrosse. The owners were always very responsive if I had any questions. We would definitely stay there again

Family weekend

All good. Bed downstairs was comfortable beds upstairs, i was told, not so much. They are young, it's fine. Made a simple dinner and had everything we needed. Shower was great. Place clean. Thank you for having us!

Perfect spot to visit family

This property is so convenient to Pennybyrn for anyone visiting family there! Could walk or drive and go back and forth during day, which was helpful with teenagers. House was perfect for the 4 of us and teens had own space upstairs. Hosts left water, snacks and coffee pods and the house was nicely decorated. We’ll be back!

Cute place, but very damp

This property was an accurate depiction of the online photos. The location to High Point and HPU was great! The place was old, needed a few repairs but was very clean. The property was very private and quiet. My only complaint (but a big one) was how damp the home was. It smelled heavily of mildew and was so damp that our clothes hanging in the closet and in our suitcases stayed damp. The air worked great and kept it cool, it was just always very humid. The home could use a dehumidifier at the very least and to solve the problem the basement really needs to be addressed as that’s where we decided the moisture was probably coming from. The owners were pleasant.

Great Place
