Kyle and crew were fabulous. The staff absolutely made this place. It is a beautiful historic building, and a little gem in the middle of Greensboro. Very LGBTQ friendly.
We enjoyed learning the history of the city and the building. The staff is phenomenal!!! Made us feel very welcome from the moment we walked into the door. Huge thank you to Stewie, Lee, Kyle and Brian.

The proximity to downtown Greensboro was great.
One of the oldest hotels in NC. Very well run with a ton of character. Passionate and professional staff. Highly recommended.
Think it was kind of a misrepresentation to use the Biltmore name and have you think it is part of the glamorous Biltmore in Asheville NC. They should be required in their advertising to clarify “not part of or affiliated with the Asheville Biltmore”
This independent hotel is adorable! It’s an older building, and with that comes all the character you’d expect. We loved the fun decor and all the little details that made us feel like we were in a European hotel. As for amenities, I haven’t been so pleased in years! Unlike several places I’ve stayed in recent years, the wifi was free and easy to connect to, with no weird hoops to jump through or extra money to pay if I wanted more than one connected device. The wine at 7 in the lobby was an unexpected treat, and we both enjoyed a glass and a snack before we went out for the evening. In the morning, breakfast was even better with plenty of options and hot coffee. As someone with a special diet, I was pleased to note that there were plenty of things for everyone to enjoy; not just the meat, dairy, eggs, and gluten I’ve come to expect at other places. The hotel was within walking distance of several breweries (which is why we picked it), and everything else was an easy Lyft ride away. We parked in the pay deck across the street and felt no need to move our car (and if it hadn’t been the weekend, the hotel also validates parking for that deck). Overall, I have to agree with other reviewers to say that if we have to stay in Greensboro again, it’ll be at this hotel.
The building is old and in need of upgrades to the elevator, bathrooms, doors. On the other hand is very well located and within walking distance to good shopping and restaurants. Good parking across the street.
The floors were not cleaned all the way up to the walls or under furniture. The front desk had a smell animal urine. The shower hot water only last about 7minutes which isn’t adequate to even run a bath for small children to wash. All wasn’t bad-beds we’re comfy and breakfast was very good. Plus it is within walking distance to LeBauer children’s park downtown and some great restaurants.
It's charming, quaint and the staff are great -- but -- the property is a little run down. They really need new carpeting everywhere. I can live with the rest due to the charming, retro feel to the place
Friendly, helpful staff. Would stay again. For those who prefer small to big chain hotels. More like a B&B.
I loved the older feel of the property and that it was so close to great restaurants like Crafted - rooms very neat and clean and liked having mini fridge - only complaint was the A/C unit was loud and I had to turn it off to sleep - staff extremely courteous and helpful and felt I got a good rate of $121 for a night thru Orbitz
Old South charm with modern amenities and cleanliness.
"Old World Charm". This is an old, downtown hotel from an age long gone. The halls are narrow and the elevator clangs and bangs. The rooms are furnished with antiques (might be the original furniture from 1903). If you're looking for slick, cookie cutter concrete box hotel construction get a chain reservation out by the interstate. The room was spotless, breakfast was good and , in a concession to the modern age, there was a flat screen TV.
The history of the building & location. It’s very charming and staff is very educated to the buildings history
Great historic atmosphere in the center of downtown.
Hotel is comfortable and elegant. Location is great for walking to great restaurants. Free parking across the street and very nice complimentary breakfast.
My husband and I loved this hotel! Such charm in downtown Greensboro! It has been well-maintained. Breakfast each morning and wine/cheese hour every evening was a nice time to sit and visit with other guests. It is centrally located downtown with the Civil Rights Museum and many restaurants within walking distance. Also, it is very close to four Greensboro colleges. My favorite part was the old 1920's elevator still in operating order! Quaint and comfortable!
Anyone coming to attend concerts or functions in old downtown Greensboro might like to consider the Biltmore. It is a charming, 26 room hotel right out of the 1930s. The different rooms each have their own personalities and decor; very comfortable, though not spacious by today's standards. The hotel staff was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the area and its offerings. I have a major caveat; bring earplugs...and a white noise generator. Because it is an early 20th century building, the sound-proofing between the floors and walls is basically nonexistent. Our stay was nearly ruined by noisy neighbors who cared about nothing other than their own arguments and entertainment. They finally called it quits some time between 2 and 3. I was tempted to return the favor when I got up around 7 the next morning. The purpose of a hotel is to provide a comfortable place for people to rest. The comfort was there, the location and atmosphere were both great, the provision of rest did not quite work out on this night. Too bad.

Permission was granted to use the name "Biltmore" name back in 1989. So the name The Biltmore Greensboro Hotel was chosen. We make no representation of any affiliation. Just the name, but travels make an assumption. Thank you for being our guest and save travels!
