I feel bad for this hotel because it was actually a decently nice place to stay for the money. Our room was clean, we had a fridge and microwave, and the bed was super-comfortable (and I am picky). Breakfast was not much to write home about, but the proprietor did bring out yogurt when I asked him to. Really everything we needed for a short stay. Super-close to the Coliseum, which is where we were going. We didn't use it, but the pool looked super-clean and sparkling. However, the clientele around the hotel grounds was really sketchy. Every two feet you turned, someone was sitting around smoking. Probably some other 'transactions' going on, if you get what I mean. Lots of people you really wouldn't want to run into in a dark parking lot. The morning we left, some suspicious character was loitering and going around knocking on doors while his 'partner' kept watch in their truck. To the point that I didn't want to leave our valuable belongings in the room bc it was obvious my son and I were going to breakfast. Also didn't want to leave our van in its space once we moved all our stuff bc we were parked in the back lot, which was sorta secluded. So we had to move our van to the front and after breakfast go back to get the rest of our things. So, as I said, if I am judging just the hotel, it was all very good with me for this level of hotel, but certainly the people around the place were borderline scary. My 6-foot tall, 200-pound high-school son was pretty worried, tbh

We noticed the room we were in had what appeared to be a leak in the bathroom. We called the front desk and they sent maintenance immediately. They moved us to another room right away. The staff was very pleasant.

The check-in clerk was rather rude. There are no elevators, so stairs were inconvenient. Hotel appeared to be an older Hampton Inn that was converted to Howard Johnsons. The room was well appointed with a flat screen TV, refrigerator, and microwave. Parking was free. The Internet was extremely slow and virtually unusable The location was convenient. There were questionable clientele roaming walkways at all hours. A free limited breakfast (waffles and cereal) was available.

Staff were rude. At check in the clerk had attitude because I interrupted her Popeye's. At checkout the other clerk was missing 10 minutes and finally showed up with no apology for my wait. Room smelled old and of cigarettes despite being non-smoking. Bed sheets were maybe 100 thread count, old and not comfortable. The mattress was similarly old and offered no support.

The neighborhood was ok but the clientele was a bit sketchy. As a female with my daughter I was uncomfortable with the customers that were coming and going and hanging out in the parking lot. The price was great and we were looking for a cheap hotel so we definitely got our money's worth. The room was clean and decent but a little dated with the decor. The staff was responsive to requests but seemed like they hated their jobs and were not very friendly or welcoming. It met our needs so we were happy with the hotel but don't expect the Marriott or Hilton.

AC leaked into the room and carpet got soak, I reported the problem and nothing was done until I reported it again next day. This hotel chain reminds me of the saying "put lipstick on a pig, it still is a pig"

There were random people hanging around the lobby, but they looked homeless.

It was nothing welcoming. Staff rude during check in

It's what you should expect for the price. We just needed a place to sleep for 2 nights. The room, beds and bathroom were all clean, which was the most important thing for us. Our non-smoking room had a twinge of a cigarette smell, but not too bad. The toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall, and also, we had reserved a room for 4 people, but there were only 3 towels in the bathroom. The internet worked fine, until all of a sudden it cut out on us, and when we tried to get back on, it now required a password. We tried to call the front desk, but realized our in-room phone did not work. Used our personal phone to look up the phone number and called the front desk. The man who picked up said they had just added a password, gave it to us, and then hung up on us. The continental breakfast was fine, except the lady working there followed us around, and told us not to touch certain things. Overall it was okay for the price.

No hot water no internet the room stunk and the breakerfast was terrible. The rooms don't look lke the pictures.

I picked this hotel because of price and location as I was attending a conference across the street. My non-smoking room absolutely wreaked of cigarette smoke. I bought febreeze and used the whole bottle on anything that was fabric just so I could stand to sleep in there. There was dirt in the corners, smears on the mirrors, the table tops weren't clean, previous guest receipts laying about, the fridge didn't work, no remote control, the fire alarm battery went out at 10 pm with that ever so enjoyable beep beep beep. I got very tired of walking to the office for help from staff. Won't be going back and didn't bother to check out the free breakfast either-would rather look into Air B&B.

The fitness center was locked and I made more than one effort on separate days to the staff to get it unlocked. The room smelled. The comforter and computer chair was stained. The toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall. The staff was friendly but that was the only positive thing about the hotel.

The hotel was excellent staff was very courteous and your work is in the front desk excellent they were very helpful and very accommodating.

Good accommodation. Those breakfasts could be better
