This bed & breakfast was perfect! It is in a great location and the owners are both so sweet & helpful. I was leaving before breakfast time, so the Mrs. packed me some snacks for my morning. I will definitely stay here again if I am ever in the area and I definitely recommend Haynes B & B!

was great, very clean and the owner is very nice. Would stay there again. Close to downtown ,within walking distance of restaurants clubs bars anything you want museums parks .The house has a nice outdoor porch to sit out on when it's nice outside.

Lovely historic house located very close to the downtown and in walking distance of shops and restaurants. Very tastefully decorated and not at all cluttered as is the case with some B&Bs. Would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend.

We have been staying at B&B’s for 25 years. If your priority is staying in down town Greensboro, this is for you. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the WiFi signal was good, the hostess was polite and the food was good. If this checks all your boxes, again this place is for you. It is down town. Consider using the earplugs supplied in the fruit basket (basket with a banana, an apple and two pair of ear plugs) to muffle the sirens. Uniquely in our experience our card was charged moments after we arrived. While she was charging our credit card I was required to fill out an authorization that included the card number to charge us after our stay for damages she deemed we caused, also unique for us. At our departure this prompted me to request that our room be inspected to retrieve the authorization in exchange for their the house key. All our interactions with Mrs Haynes had that transactional feel. I was informed the authorization would be shredded after she cleaned our room. If you are considering a B&B for the first time, like hotel chains and concerned this may be too homey or too personal, let me put your mind at ease. I think you will find your stay very familiar.

I recently spent 2 great nights at the Haynes B & B. Such a great location. Close to everything in the downtown, totally walkable. Great on the street parking, easy to find, comfy and well appointed room. The room was quiet, and I slept so well. I definitely plan to stay again and again.

We stayed here 4 nights and loved the quiet back bedroom - great bed. Nice breakfast. Spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the upstairs outdoor porch every night. Kind hosts. Great place to stay in Greensboro for any reason. Only slight drawback is no TV access but we just streamed what we wanted on our laptop.

Our visit and stay at Haynes B&B was a very nice experience. Glenna the inkeeper was very friendly and welcoming. Bed was comfortable with private bath. Home nicely decorated and CLEAN. Balcony to sit and relax. Delicious breakfast beautifully served. The only minor complaint is that there is a railroad nearby, so could hear trains whistle during night (I am a light sleeper, my husband did not hear trains), but if traveling by train this could be an asset! We do recommend this B&B, reasonable rates and will stay with the Haynes again felt like home!

Well located property for a walk into town . Like most things there are two sides to every story and so convenience of town also brought what seemed an hourly train whistle intervention during the night heavy sleepers would really appreciate the convenience side. The bespoke breakfast was an attractive feature but couldn’t help feeling a TV in the room and/or coffee making facilities would have been more welcome . Enjoyed 30min seat on the porch. So those thinking of staying here need to consider what it is they really want and not just fall into it.

I stayed for just one night and the host was very polite. The room was spacious with it's own bathroom. It was very quiet the entire night, and I enjoyed some time out on the balcony. The breakfast was delicious the next morning. This B&B is very close to downtown restaurants and bars, so they're convenient to walk to.

Great hospitality! I booked a one-night stay here for my boyfriend's surprise birthday evening in Greensboro. I called before our arrival to request a cheese tray to be in our room upon arrival. The day we arrived, Dale warmly greeted us at the front door and showed us where everything was that we needed. When we entered our room, I was pleased to see a nice assortment of cheeses, crackers and grapes. To top it off, they left a "happy birthday" card and napkins with the snacks! After dinner in the nearby downtown area, we sat on the porch and enjoyed good conversation. Breakfast was great in the morning and the owners again, were very friendly. The added touches and attention to detail will definitely encourage us to stay here again when visiting the area. Thank you for making this birthday even more special!
