Was down in Greenbrier, Arkansas with daughter, ,sister, and brother for funeral of a family member. Been going to Greenbrier, Arkansas for over 50 years. This Hilltop Inn was ok, the managers appear to be of Middle Eastern descent, just a guess. Religion possibly Muslim, again just a guess. The reason I state this and is important is I have never been served frozen sausage patties. I know their religion forbids the touching of pork, but microwaving sausage patties is disgusting. I don't like paying money and not getting my money worth. Don't recommend this place. Don't like anybody possibly instilling their religious views on what I eat or belief in. Arkansas is the Razorback state.

Thank you to Hotels.com for taking my money and never booking me and my family at the hotel we had a confirmation on!! We called them to dispute it and they said they would book us somewhere else which at that point we had no choice anyway. They book us here in Greenbrier which is 33 miles away from our original destination and this place was so untaken care of. The pool outside was green and looked like it had not been used in years. The rooms were ok, the beds were like sleeping in concrete, the bathroom floor tiles were coming up, and there were bugs on the floor all around the bathroom. My husband also found empty skoal cans under the mattresses of both beds while we were looking for one of my daughters toys. The staff was ok but u could tell they only give about 35% effort in keeping this place running. Will not ever be back!!!

Room was ok. Nothing special. It was clean. The breakfast was frozen! Yes frozen sausage and biscuits. You had to microwave them yourself. LOL. Never had that in a hotel breakfast before. Gravy was watered down and the juice was also water with a small amount of orange flavoring and the apple juice was sugar water. Coffee was good. Store bought muffins were also good.

We have so much to say about this hotel. Cockroaches in the coffee pot. Advertised as a business center. However, when time came to print the owner said someone had stolen his printer cable. When I asked if he could allow us to print behind desk he just simply declined without explanation. One of many things related to lack of upkeep. The carpet behind the tv cabinet was covered in dead bugs. The corners and ceiling were packed with webs. We booked two identical rooms for two nights and were charged two separate rates for each. When I enquired the owner said if he didn't do it the way he did he would have to charge us more for each. Really never understood the reasoning. One room was $54 the other (same room) was $62??? Owner was absolutely uncooperative from every aspect. Requested a 1 hour late check out the last day and the owner wanted to charge us $50 additional!! He claimed it was because he was full and would need to call in cleaning people. We saw THE OWNER cleaning rooms himself as we were leaving. There are many other choices in the area with better conditions and without shiesty owners. These guys are a joke! Run! Do not stop.

The room was spacious. There was good internet speed. They served a decent breakfast. In fact everything everything worked perfectly. It was comfortable in all regards except one. I cannot believe a motel as new as this one would be built with such a lack of sound-proofing. There was no road noise, but I could hear every word the man in the next room said on his phone. At first I assumed he was just a loud talker, but after I went to bed, I could actually hear every snoring sound he made. The price is right. Just try to get a room without a snorer next door.

A good place to stay. Too bad there is really no reason for a tourist to stay in Greenbrier. I came up to visit family, so I needed a place to stay. This was the only place in the immediate vicinity. I enjoyed my stay. The room was nice and large and everything worked as it should. Especially the A/C which worked really well on a 90+ degree day. I like a nice dark room and the curtains did a good job of doing that. This place accepts pets with only a $15 additional charge. A pool is available and towels are especially provided so that you do not have to use your room towels. A continental breakfast is included. The staff was friendly and helpful. On the down side it appeared that the vacuum missed a few small items on the carpet. I can recommend this place if you happen to be traveling to this area or are a resident of the Central Arkansas area looking for a place to get away. And yes this place is on a small hilltop with kind of a good view, but which also makes access and egress a little difficult because of line of sight problems to the South.

Hilltop staff very friendly and helpful. Room was neat and clean. Good quality for price. Only one thing could be better, breakfast coffee was not good, but you could make your own in your room, so that was not a big deal. . we were here for a week, and would stay here again.

Hilltop was the closest hotel to where i was picking up a family member. The price was good considering it was 20 miles away, but the room has some problems--- bugs on blathroom floor, towels were dingy and didnt look clean, the tv was broke (watching head on was too bright on one side, it was easier to watch), the table ends were beat up, the shower rod- is it rust or poop?, change the rod. Parts of the room needs to be updated/refreshed and parts of the room needs new.

We stayed only for one night. We were very surprised at how nice the hotel is and how nice our room was. The younger lady that checked us in was very nice and helpful; but the lady who checked us out, wasn't very friendly. Our room was clean, however, the bedding kind of scared us because it was wrinkled sooo badly. We checked under the sheets and checked the mattress and all was clean and smelled cleaned, so we didn't ask for new bedding - we'd been traveling and was tired, anyway. The breakfast was a joke - we drove on into Clinton to eat before we left. All in all, it's a nice place to lay your head at night and that's all we needed. We would stay again.

I travel a lot on the rodeo circuit and stay in many hotels and motels, but I have to say this place is one of the best I have stayed in for a town as small as Greenbrier, Arkansas. It would fit well into any sized town. The staff and facility are both great and very accommodating. They go above and beyond to make your stay an enjoyable one. Glad the stock contractor and producer chose this one for me!
