I was here w/my high school soccer team for which I required a 2 hour "study hall" b/c I had them on the road all weekend. As soon as Sally heard that she got to work bringing in extra chairs, posting pots of coffee and increasing the already excellent breakfast bar. Best service I've ever had in a situation where many hotels dread having high school kids in the house.
Right from the moment I walked in the door, Kirsten was super friendly and really helpful. EVERYONE in that hotel smiled and said hello, even the housekeepers. It was genuine too, not because they were "supposed" to greet guests. Room was clean, breakfast was the usual with plenty of options. Totally recommend this hotel, it's great!
Kirsten, Jason, Sally and Bonny are the BOMB! I haven't had service this great, informative and helpful in many years. My family and I will come back on vacation here because of the way we were treated and welcomed everyday! Thanks all,
The staff at the front desk were very helpful and accommodating! The room was clean and very comfortable and we were able to get a good night's sleep! The pool was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the hot and delicious breakfast!
The inner and outer doors did not function properly. When checking in, we were subjected to a view of the laundry and all attending noises. Suggesting they close the door to the laundry did no good. Took a very long time for them to find us a room even though we had an advance reservation, Their recommendation of a restaurant turned out very well.
Spent 4 nights here (13 to 16). Clean hotel with friendly front desk staff. First day we did not get our room cleaned for some unknown reason but did rest of stay. Breakfast is good but personally wish it would go until 9:30 during the week. Coffee, lemon water and fruit available all day. REALLY hope they bring back their fresh cookies later in afternoon. Centrally located so easy access to places on 10th. Did not use pool. Will come back again.
I was part of a party of three traveling across the United States. We had reservations at this property. After a long day of driving we arrived at the property after 6 PM. The property looked very old and shabby as we drove up. It looks run down and unsavory. The property has no curb appeal. I went to get the luggage cart from the lobby. The automatic doors did not work. The luggage cart was old and rickety. At all other properties we stayed at on this trip, I was able to use the luggage cart to transport all of out luggage by myself. This luggage cart was so old and rickety that it took two of us to bring the cart into the lobby. The furniture and fixtures in the lobby and breakfast area looked very tired, worn and dated. Check-in time was at 3 PM. Our rooms were NOT ready even though we had arrived after 6 PM. The cleaning staff was still working to get the rooms ready for the night. I think the front desk clerk must also have to work in the laundry. It appeared the laundry was directly behind the font desk. The front desk clerk appeared with a plastic glove on one hand. She checked us into dirty rooms. I found that unacceptable. The desk clerk stated she would call me on my cell phone when the rooms were ready. I have Gold Status with Marriott. I did not earn this status by staying at the upper end properties (Ritz Carlton and JW Marriott). For the record, I have never stayed at the Ritz Carlton and only at two JW Marriott properties. I have stayed mostly at the lower-end properties such Fairfield Inns. I can unequivocally state that this property does NOT meet Marriott standards. This property is a franchise. I have no idea how the property keeps the Marriott franchise. We left to go eat dinner. While we were eating dinner, we decided to stay else where. The front desk called me at 8:50 PM to tell me my rooms were ready. It should be noted that I did get an acceptable resolution and compensation from Marriott because of the above issues. My advise is DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.
Property older than expected but in good shape. Had noise through the walls but it was busy. Sufficient parking, close to sporting goods, mall and restaurants. Breakfast included was okay, bed was a bit soft/old but okay.
stayed here for an overnight stop and it's a no frills hotel...friendly staff and free breakfast and parking too. fits perfect on the budget and just right for our needs. we will definitely come back since it is also centrally located.
I booked a King room many months before my arrival. I am a Marriott Rewards member. I asked for a high floor/quiet room. I checked in online that morning. When I arrived I had a Queen room on the 2nd floor next to the elevator!?
