When we arrived it took twenty minutes to check in. Not a big deal just an inconvenience. However the entire time there were children just screaming in the background. Finally got up to our room, via a very shady elevator that seemed it was going to break any minute. In the room you could hear everything. You could hear people walking up above, people walking in the hallway, and next to the room. Didn't feel private at all. Pool was extremely small didn't use it. Beds were not comfortable. Only positive is it was pretty clean but our bathroom was not stocked with anything. Would not return.

Our key cards stopped working each of the last 3 nights we stayed. If you're not going to do daily cleaning in rooms, at least give some direction on alternatives (garbage removal, extra soap, towels, etc.) on how to go about doing these things. And finally, I will NEVER understand why a breakfast ends at 9:00am or 10:00 am. Silly. Why not let it go until 11:00 which is check out time? What's the rush? You're there all day!!!

Upon arrival at 930 at night, the girl at the desk says its her break time...perhaps she saw the anger in my eyes but then she said she will check me in anyway. What the...!? The hotel condition is sadly deteriorated and now seedy. Understand the pandemic is hard, but unless they make some changes soon this will be a seedy hotel. Have already decided to try elsewhere on my next trip and remember it better in years past.

Stay was ok. I have had much better and much worse.

The close proximity to Alpine Avenue was great, and the bed was very clean and comfortable. The furniture is showing signs of wear at the bottom where the vacuum cleaner hits when the carpet is being vacuumed.

I’m not picky. I just needed a place to stay for the week while my house was being renovated. I was a little disappointed that the room was dusty and not vacuumed well. The furniture was really worn and dated, however, the bed was really comfortable.

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. I would definitely book there again.

There was no free breakfast per se, non-existent room service and even towels were not provided unless asked. We liked the location in relation to what we were doing in Grand Rapids as well as the close proximity to a Starbucks. However, the property was filthy and the staff was disinterested/lazy. I know that COVID has changed many things, but this motel seems to have used that as an excuse to do nothing. It also seems that some homeless families and/or locals use the pool facility regularly.

The fridge did not work in our room, and it made the room smell. Switched to another room and it smelled of cigarette smoke, things had fallen off the bathroom wall, and a neighbor was clearly smoking weed, which also filled the room. Got a refund and chose another hotel
