Hotel getting very dated. Room had a musty smell. Window air conditioner blew right on the bed. Breakfast was skimpy. A one man show.
The hotel is very clean and quiet. The beds are nice and relaxing. The washroom is very tidy. Air conditioning is quiet and comfortable. All rooms have very good facilities. Rate is surprisingly a very good deal. Highly recommended to others.
Older hotel, great for people traveling with pets. Large well maintained grassy area ideal for pets.
Room and bathroom not clean. Black mold in the bathroom and all the drawers were dirty with sand and a sticky substance. I brought the filthy rag I used to clean with up to the reception desk and the lady said she would be talking to the cleaning personnel. No adjustment to rate though. Carpet had sandy spots on it. The owners are very cheap...they charged .25 for computer copies and you had to go to the front desk to have your copies printed. Breakfast was marginal at best.
Worst experience ever, staff not very friendly, cockroach in bathroom and no hot water. Locked out of our room because they forgot to charge us $20.00 for our pet. No apology for their error. The couple next to us had the same problem with their pet charge and were locked out of their room. Rooms not very clean.
Was okay for the price. Rooms could be updated does have frig and microwave which was nice. There wasn't much hot water for my shower but improved for my husbands, the breakfast was nothing speicial eggs, sausage other continental items. But the best part for me was I liked being able to sit outside on the patio in the sun and have that access. It was reasonable for what we got. I would stay again if it stayed a reasonable price.
The staff were patient when I couldn't see the mini arrow on the bottom of the door card so was putting it in the door wrong. Bad design for the Ramada system! And they were so busy. The shower head was good. The breakfast was cold, but I let the staff know and she adjusted it, except for the waffle which was wonderful. The room was awful. There was a used coffee cup (with curdled cream) on the credenza that had been there long enough to stick when I picked it up. The paint was splotchy as the recently painted spots didn't match. The carpet was stained and the heater was falling off the wall. Overall, just a really tacky room. For $150...really!!!
Staying here is good but the price is what balances the benefit. The Hotel Staff was great and everything was super clean but it is far outdated. The carpet in the rooms and out in the hallways MUST GO! Same with the fly paper at the front desk. The rooms were clean with a lot of space but the beds were super hard. Woke up sore most mornings. The hotel should also purchase better toilet paper. Cheap is only good for some things. Complimentary breakfast was just barely ok....better to go out as the hotel is surrounded by Diners specializing in Breakfast options. I had to have my key reset every night when I got back to the hotel as well. I should mention that I only paid $65 per night. It was well worth it but I don't think I'll be back.
Check in and out smooth, polite staff for the most part. Room in good condition, everything worked, was clean, bed good. Housekeeping slow to get to room the next 2 days but when asked gave us anything we needed. Problems were those room key cards, each day had to get them re-approved, she said it was us demagnetizing them... but cards were no where near our phones so think it is their own issue. We also had to re-sign our phones in to the internet every day.
This Ramada Hotel was a very nice surprise. The hotel, while dated, is very well maintained and very clean. The linoleum floors in the hallways were cleaned and wax. The rooms show care in their maintenance and cleanliness. They are even renovated to have more than adequate electrical outlets for all of a traveler's plug ins. The only real negative for my five night stay was the WIFI. I hate having to renew my license every 24 hours, but this setup would crash every few hours requiring logging back in. That is purely ridiculous. The SSL certificate for the provider was also expired, and there is no excuse for any of that.
