The stay was mixed overall. The room was acceptable but very basic and did not justify the price. We experienced a strong and unpleasant sewer smell coming from the shower. We reported this twice, but each time the only solution was spraying something down the drain, which did not resolve the issue. The air conditioning was also unreliable, constantly switching on and off. This was reported as well, but again, staff only adjusted the control panel and left without fixing the problem. The furniture in the room was dated and in need of an update, which added to the overall disappointment with the accommodation.
On a positive note, the food was very good and consistently enjoyable throughout our stay. The staff were the real highlight of the hotel—exceptionally friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which made a noticeable difference.
We booked the hotel transfer, which was pleasant and quick. However, the checkout process was unnecessarily awkward. We were taken into a side room (something I have never experienced before) and had to wait our turn to check out, which felt disorganized.
We also had the all-inclusive package, but guests should be aware of hidden charges. Items marked with an asterisk came with an extra cost, which we only learned about at checkout. The issue wasn’t the cost itself, but the principle—all-inclusive should mean all-inclusive, especially as we did not consume any alcohol and expected drinks to be covered.
