It's a mediocre place. The room had a funky smell when we got there so we had to air it out. Later in the evening there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke coming from somewhere. We looked outside and couldn't see anyone smoking nearby, but it was strong in the room for about an hour. Wouldn't stay there again.

Stayed at Red Feather 5x this year and it's been fantastic. Very clean and great staff at the desk-kudos to housekeeping as well. Stays have included the hotel and motel rooms. 24/7 coffee service in hotel lobby is the real deal. Bathroom lighting and counter space in hotel rooms was really nice (stayed in a few small darker dungeons this year). Very festively decorated property for the holidays was really nice for a solo trekker/traveler.

Friendly staff, helped to give advice for food and activities in the area. Clean, updated rooms, comfortable beds. Family owned business who pays attention to detail. They had sanitizing wipes placed next to remote on side table. The hotel exterior and lobby were nicely decorated for Christmas. Located conveniently just outside the Grand Canyon South Rim entrance. We had a pleasant stay and will come again.

I stayed here 18 years ago and this hotel always gave me the warm vibes; nice fireplace where we enjoyed sipping complimentary hot chocolate in the midst of winter. Walkable to local amenties and short drive to the National Park. Clean room too.
