Very uncomfortable bed which had 2 old mattresses stacked atop a box spring. Basic and spartan room. Poor lighting. Very cold. 37 bucks.....you get what you pay for. It's a room.

This is falsely-advertised, dirty, non-functional dump, to the level of being an illegal operation. There were shopping carts left by transients, right in front of the room. Occupied by noisy and shady tenants. Nothing worked in the room, on top of the dirties place I have been in. The proprietor refuses to apologize and make any corrections. He is in this as a money trap for unknowing travelers, who expect something from a town like Flagstaff. After repeated attempts to change the room or get the money back, I ended up leaving the premise for fear of danger and infectious disease. I will ask for the full refund from Orbitz AND the credit card company. This place MUST be taken off of Orbitz, and all past customers including myself, given full refund.

It was really nice stay. We have 2 really nice room, very clean. It was cheap and comfortable. The breakfast was too early.

It was ok for the price. Close to where we were headed.

Pictures tell the story. Remodeled with microwave and fridge. Too bad they filled in swimming pool, that easily cost them a point. Finally, the breakfast was small (coffee, sunny d, and a muffin), and ran out quickly. The breakfast cost them at least 1/2 point.

NAU Budget Host Inn was affordable and roomy enough for me and 4 friends to stay for a weekend in Flagstaff! It was slightly run down due to its many uses. The bathroom did seem re-done which made it much better!

We were not expecting a 5 star hotel for the budget price. However, we did expect the floor to be vacuumed and room cleaned. Furnishings looked like they had last been replaced in 1970. The cost of the room should have been closer to $30 a night to match value.

I was expecting the worst but it was remodeled and the restroom was like a 3 star hotel! The tv was also new and the fridge. Ask for remodeled rooms.

I stayed 5 days and housekeeping never came by once. I had to go to them when they were cleaning other rooms to ask for clean wash cloths. There were ants in the bathroom. After the first night I had to provide my own soap and shampoo. When I first arrived, at about 1:50 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, the guy wouldn't check me in until 3. I was also charged about $25 more than Orbitz said I would owe. So I had to kill an hour and find a restroom somewhere else in town. I was never invited to partake of the "breakfast," and didn't know it existed until I saw it on the marquee. It was nothing great anyway -- weak coffee and mini donuts and muffins. It wasn't terrible, I could sleep on the bed and it was reasonably quiet. But i don't think I'll be back.

Wasn't expecting much, but very clean, comfortable beds and a remodeled bathroom all made for a pleasant surprise

It was just an ordinary experience, nothing special to be able to refer friends to. Although, because of the location and the low cost, I would stay here again with a tight budget.

Most disgusting place I've ever stayed. The people who ran the hotel were dishonest and argumentative. After having to force the manager to move me to another room when the first room was packed with mismatched furniture, and non working microwave, it seemed more like a storage dump than a room to be booked. It was disgusting filthy, including chewing tobacco and what appeared to be human waste stains on the bed and bedspread, food and spit stuck to the walls. No amenities ever replaced, had to go to managers office to even get a packet of coffee, styrofoam cup, a clean towel or anything, and then they argued about it. Room not cleaned at all the first day and when reported to the manager he argued that I did not put out the sign to have it cleaned (which I did) cleaned poorly or not at all on the other days, floor vacuumed once in a full week stay. Mattress so horrible and worn - three mattresses stacked on top of each other. The only positive is the Wi-Fi worked fairly well.

Basic motel room. I didn't expect too much. Great for the price. I enjoyed my stay. Great staff.

The front desk lady was very nice to us when we check in. The room was nice an great!! Would stay here again. But the WiFi was really working for us.

A nice location on historic route 66, for the three of us. Not far from excellent restaurants for our supper meal.

The room was very small, dark and dirty. The towels were dirty. There was a pool, but without water. The staff was very unfriendly. Breakfast? No comment... Never again!

We went to check in at 1:30 and the guy at the frontdesk told us check in wasn't until 2:00 so we went for a walk. Came back at 2:00 and he said since we have more than 1 person, it's an addional $15 per person. I already paid over $55 and not he wanted me to pay $70 for this below average, junky room? We didn't pay it. He called us twice the next morning an hour and a half before check out to make sure we were going to check out or if we wanted another night. My fiance went to check out later and noticed that we might be charged an additional $3 for using utilites. I suggest paying the extra $20-30 and staying in a nicer hotel.

we (we being two females) left do not disturb sign on door to go eat dinner. when we came back toilet seat was up and shower items moved around, and spare key was gone. Made for a real comfortable night- NOT!

This is an older hotel compared to others nearby. The bed was very high off the ground and the decor was quite old. No flat screen tv and it was cramped. The worst thing was that there was no hot water in the morning. The whole hotel had no hot water as the furnace had broke down. It is defnitely cheaper than the other hotels nearby.

No amenities, but if you need a cheap clean place to stay for sleep and shower a good choice. I would stay again!
