We were in Granada one night. We ere a family of five. The apartment was very spacious. The hotel itself was quite charming. Staff helpful. Walking distance to Alhambra and other sights. Close to restaurants and shopping.
Great location, in an awesome area close to the Alhambra in the Albacain area. We had a one bedroom for four adults and were a little tight so I advise a bigger room for more comfort. The staff was great and the people we great. Literally in the corner of the bathhouse which was the highlight of our trip! Breakfast was good. We walked everywhere literally a 3 min walk to the cathedral and the winding streets if this area are beautiful. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
After some difficulties at the beginning it turned out to be a great stay at a wonderful little hotel. Very central located u can reach all the sights within walking distance. The staff tried their best to make our stay as pleasant as possible
We are a family of 4 adults and visited Andalucía in July. We spent 3 days in Granada and we had one bedroom apartment at Casa Cuesta del Agua. This is a charming hotel, very nice and polite staff. The hotel is located at the base of Albaicin, the hill facing the Alhambra. The position is excellent to hike the Albaicin for the sunrise, an amazing experience. Very close to Plaza Nueva, the departing point of the Granada City Train Hop-On Hop-Off. I am strongly recommending the little train reasonably priced (8 Euro/day or 12 euro/ 2 days) allowing to comfortably visiting both Alhambra and Albaicin. The train is a good option for people with reduced mobility The cons of Casa Cuesta del Agua; the parking is very difficult in this pedestrian area; if travelling by car, park on the taxi area in Plaza Nueva the time to take of your luggage. The hotel is giving a discount to parking Triunfo (Av. de la Constitución, 4, 18012 Granada, Spain) 15 min of walking. The kitchen utilities are outdated and would benefit an upgrade. Excellent location. Overall excellent quality/price ratio.
We had a three room apartment for a night. The reception team went out of their way to be helpful, especially with regards to our Alhambra tickets. The apartment was perfect for our family of five. Plenty of space and two very good bathrooms. They were all spotlessly clean with lovely crisp bedding and good aircon. We loved it and would definitely visit again - we found it too be amazing value.
I'm not sure how our family got such a steal; it was a wonderful, spacious suite in an amazing location, so close to Plaza Nueva, the Alhambra, and a whole series of bars, restaurants, and shops. It was relatively quiet (for a city!), with lovely, calm, and relaxing common areas.
We loved the hotel! It definitely exceeded our expectations. We were really looked after. The building is beautiful and well kept. The staff very friendly and helpful. Especially Raquel who took our luggage up to our apartment suite. The only issue is the parking which is at a distance. However they had good arrangements and the inconvenience was worth it. The location is amazing as from our terrace you could see the Alhambra! Would have loved to stay a few days more!
Stayed with my husband and two kids for 2 nights. Overall I will rate it as 2.9/5. Pros: Good location, only 15 minute walk to the Alhsmbra and located inside the old historical city. Very friendly staff. Cons: Very dark and poor lighting inside the property. The rooms are too small even from the European standards. The bathroom is tiny and not so clean. The bed sheets smelled sweaty and dirty. Overall, the maintenance has issues and though it's very old property located in the historical neighbourhoor, they should keep it clean and provide better lights. The house keeping was my main concern.
Our family of 5 was very comfortable here ! The apartment featured 2 bedrooms, a living area with a day bed and trundle bed and kitchen. The breakfast buffet was great and available earlier than area restaurants served breakfast. Great location off the Plaza Nueva, quick taxi ride from train station and to the Alhambra but walked everywhere else. Hotel staff reserved Alhambra tickets for us prio to our arrival.
I love the mudejar style of this apartment and its tranquil courtyard! I felt like I went back in time. Unlike many other apartment rentals in Spain, you have 24-hour reception as it shares the same reception as the hotel which means you don't have to worry about checking-in during odd hours. The hotel-side has an elevator and the apartment-side you have to walk a couple flights of stairs. The apartment we stayed in only has one bathroom in the master bedroom and a curtain instead of a door in the other bedroom. The building is located right in the centre of town and if you take a taxi you will be dropped off in the midst of tourists before walking a few steps up to the apartment. Tell the taxi driver Hotel Casa del Capitel Nazari instead of Casa Cuesta del Agua and they will understand you better. Don't make my mistake of just saying Nazari because we ended up at Nazaries Business and Spa which is further away from town. It was pouring one night and the men only walked 5 minutes to the nearby Calle Navas for tapas when me and another girl grabbed a taxi just down the stairs and took twice as long! I thought the taxi driver was trying to ripped us off when I later confirmed with reception that it's a long one-way street so it's best to catch a taxi from the plaza.
