I like Quality Hotel 11; service, cleanliess, comfort, breakfast and mostly wellness area. I'm very satisfied with my last stay at the hotel. I recommend your hotel to other people traveling to Gothenburg.
The hotel was a factory boats and it is very suggestive. There are lots of rooms but it is always fully booked. In the hotel there also a restaurant (food not special but prices ok), an outdoor swimming pool, a gym (unfortunately few gym equipment). The rooms are a bit coold and sometimes is not possible to warm up. Breakfast ok
Stayed at the hotel a lot in the mid 90´s and not much have happened since then. The hotel lack personality and is in need of renovation. If you´re looking to be in central Gothenburg other hotels would be recommended. This is about 15 minutes away with bus (or taxi). I must admit that the breakfast is pretty good, however I wish that they would offer more than just regular coffee in their machines.
The hotel is situated outside the citys centre, a 15 minutes ride with the bus with a very frequent bus schedule. A nice hotel with a very friendly personnel, a very good restaurant and bar with a stunning sea view. The rooms though were really simple, no coffee amenities, no shower products, no safe in the room, no minibar. There were products (like in a minibar) to buy in the reception area but not in the room. I would probably not stay in the same hotel while in Gothenburg unless I had a special reason to be in the specific area of the city.
Just returned from a 5 day trip to Gothenburg. My room was at the 4th floor, looking at a the back of the hotel. Room size was bigger than expected, Scandinavian style interior. It was clean, housekeeping did the job every day. Location is good, directly at the river with a ferry connection, which makes it fun to travel for only 30 SEK, you can buy the ticket on the ferry! The girls at the reception are incredibly friendly with a sense of humour, specially Jenny! Check in and out runs quickly. It is a big hotel, but still very quiet. Be aware when traveling to Sweden, they are ahead of times and do not use cash anymore, you pay absolutely everything with card!!!
A charmig building in an old boat yard industry. All the iron Travelling crane supports are still in the building. When you walk to your room it’s like walking at a cruise ship. The rooms a clean and nice. The beds are comfy and the bathroom is clean and small. The breakfast is nice and fresh with a lot of fruit. The a la carte restaurant is amazing. The staff is very service minded and nice. The foos we ate was amazing. Salmon for starter, cod for main course and the most beautiful Pavlova I have ever seen for desert. Please go and enjoy it.
Quality? Not so much. It's a very simple hotel. Too simple. Close to hostel actually. The room itself is modestly decorated. Nice windows going down to the floor. Clean and neat. No minibar though. Lower quality than expected starts in the bathroom. The tiles remind a hospital or public sports facilities. Among washing amenities only soap in a large container near the shower is available. Bring your own toiletries! The towels are thin and have gone too many rounds to laundry. The water pressure in the shower is weak, which is very unusual for Sweden. Breakfast is a standard Swedish breakfast. No finesse there. Still give two stars because of the friendly staff. Probably you cannot avoid the hotel since it's mainly focused on business travellers having a conference there and you are one of them.
This hotel is very spacious, clean and has great open, public spaces within. The staff is very helpful and the restaurant and bar is great. The food there is delicious. The location is very good, right next to the ferry to town.
Quite avarage hotel. Interrior is nice as its old shipyard but thats that. - rooms maybe even too simple and dreary -Beds way too soft - breaksfast, so and so. Nothing special. They should go an visit for example Scandic hotels in Stockholm center and See how the breakfast could be Done. - no handweights in the ”welness” area - outdoor pool in the rooftop have nice view, but those fking drains of the pool have designed so that they keep awful noise all the time. Ruins the atmosphere quite fast. Also the water is actually quite hand warm, should be warmer, especially during the winter. Small things but they are the ones that makes ”Quality”. Tack och adjö
This hotel is excellent. The front desk is very professional and deserves all words of praise. The suite at the top of the hotel is phenomenal and it offers a beautiful view on the harbour. The room is equipped with all amenities (including a bathrobe), offering also a selection of teas and coffees (including espresso machine). The room is very clean, spacious, with a very comfortable bed and big bathroom. The bar at the hotel is also worth recommending - the atmosphere is great and the prices are quite reasonable. Breakfast at the hotel is worth the money - exceptional selection of food. The hotel offers peace and quiet. It is not in the city centre, but the connection is very good - there is a bus stop in front of the hotel, and a little boat in the harbour. On top of the hotel, there is a very clean spa and an outdoor pool. This hotel is perfect both for a city break or for a longer stay.
