Very quiet little place in a great area to go hiking or hit the lake. Saw deer both nights we were there just sitting outside and they walked right by us.

The cabin was super cute, and had everything we needed. Vonda was very responsive to questions. In addition to Ferne Cliff and Bell Smith waterfalls, we also hiked to Stoneface, Dixon Springs, and at Giant City. We didn’t spend as much time at the wineries as in the past (early in the season), but we enjoyed a meal and drinks at Shotgun Eddy’s. Maybe we’ll get a chance to enjoy the kayaks and fire pit next time around.

We had a wonderful stay, Vonda was extremely kind. She went out if her way to make a bed for my boys when we were arriving late. The cabin is cozy and kitchen is well stocked. We would highly recommend staying here!

Very nice cabin but not quite off the beaten path

Beautifully decorated little cabin close to Giant City and Blue Sky Vineyard. The hosts had a nice coffee and tea selection. We were a little disappointed that the patio outside the cabin was so small but there was a nicer large area on the other side of the cabin if you wanted to make a fire. One downside is the cabin is in front of a 3 way intersection and there was a lot of local traffic with very noisy trucks going by. If you wanted the windows open or to be outside the noise definitely took away from the ambiance. Overall we would recommend this location and the hosts were very responsive and friendly.

Hiking getaway

Beautiful and very clean cabin. Very nicely decorated with everything you can think of to make your stay there relaxing. About an hour away from Garden of the gods and 30 mins from Jackson Falls. The closest food source was in Marion with lots to choose from. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Wonderfully appointed cabin with beautiful trails just a few minutes drive away. Comfortable bed, chairs, easy to use kitchen, even has laundry. Highly recommend.

Cabin weekend

Everything was fine. Unfortunately it rained & it was cold at night so we didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit. However the fire pit is in the front yard of the cabin son-it’s not very secluded. Plus none of the walls in the cabin go up to the ceiling so there is a lack of privacy. The cabin was very clean.
