The Lodge and Lantern has a grand and welcoming foyer, with friendly staff and a massive warm fireplace, complete with a crackling fire and cozy couch. Our room was clean and fresh with a comfy bed. We enjoyed a coffee before we left. Beautiful river view from our room!

The entire check in and check out process was seamless as it was all done online. The front desk staff was kind and communication was excellent. It was a little noisy as the walls are quite thin. We also found a small bug in the shower, but the rest of the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our experience last year was better than this time around, but we understand the lodge is currently undergoing renovations. It was overall a good stay, and we hope to come back next time once the changes are completed.

My wife and I just stayed here for one night and found the hospitality was attentive and welcoming. The location is very convenient and provides for a nice walk along the river into town. The room and public areas are very clean and the bed (and linens) are incredibly comfy. We appreciate the new owners have only had the lodge for a couple of months and have plans to make things even better, but as it is, the lodge exceeded our expectations and we would definitely stay here again. We 100% recommended this place.
