Firstly, the customer service from the Front office team is next level amazing! Super friendly and intuitive. Great Team! Facilities are great, location awesome, rooms great. Suits all sizes of party - singles, couples & families. Great all round time had here.

One of the best best equipped family resorts we stayed in especially if you enjoy golf. Nice pool and gym. Friendly staff and a compound immaculately kept. Great value for dollar. Highly recommended especially for families

The second time we have stayed at this premium resort. The first time was great, this time was even better. A quiet weekend away without all the hustle and bustle and glitz and noise of the pretentious Gold Coast. Only minutes from restaurants, fun parks and clubs on the northern strip of the Goldie. All the facilities of a first class resort with bbq facilities, gym, sauna and pool. Top resort in a top area.

We stayed for 2 nights and can't complain. Very spacious appartments with everything you need. Would a good spot for longer stays considering the full kitchen facilities etc. Lovely pool and gardens plus if you're a golfer - you'll be happy. A good stay. Not the first time we've stayed here and won't be the last.

I have stayed here 3 times now. This is a complex with 3 apartment buildings surrounding a nice pool. Parking is underground & access to apartments is via a lift. The apartments I'd say are around 15 years old and are a little bit tired. Beds are the worst feature. On the good side the bedrooms are large & all have ensuits, the kitchens are well equipped I've found the staff to be polite & helpful. I will return here again.

Spent a long week end at this resort. Not in the usual high tourist area of the Gold Coast. I was visiting this time for family reasons. Very, large rooms, two showers and three toilets and a kitchen and laundry on the top floor with long balcony and views over the waterways. Staff were out of sight until I needed help with the dish washer operation and they were at my door within a couple of minutes. Surprisingly exceptionally quite for such a large complex. There was no sound transmission through the walls. Great surroundings with lots of bird life and the obvious golf carts.

When I had a function at Hope island over Easter, I though I'd take a chance and stay at this '5 star' resort, as the Intercontinental only had single rooms. I can honestly say whoever thought it was 5 star was either drunk or blind! We arrived at 1pm after driving for two hours. I had a cranky 1year old and was desperate to get him settled. The arrogant lady at reception, rudely told my husband that there is no check in until 2pm and we were not welcome anywhere in the resort until that time. We waited outside a while before I went in and asked her for a public toilet where I can change my baby. She gave me this look as if I was stealing her morning breakfast and half told me to go outside and turn left. We changed the baby and thought we would go in search of some lunch before returning to check in. When we got back to the hotel, I went to check in, while my husband organised the baby and luggage. The same helpful staff member told me that she can't deal with me and it was my husband on the reservation so I needed to go and get him. After another 35 min of wasted time, realising our room wasn't set up and our cot was nowhere to be found, she gave us the keys and we pushed and pulled our luggage and our baby to one of the outbuildings. When we got there we realised that the corridor was being painted and all of the fumes were coming in our room. Yet again my husband had to go downstairs and explain to management that having a baby in a room full of pain fumes was not ideal. The only reply we got was 'well we are fully booked so I don't know what you want me to do' At that stage my husband asked for his money back and magically another room appeared! The room we received although fumeless, was old and depressed, just like the reception staff. I can go on forever about this hotel, from the terribly plastered holes in the walls to the stickytaped holes in the tiles. The lack of basic necessities, failing lights in the toilet and the concrete mattress that has given me back pain two nights in a row. My points all lead to one thing, DO NOT STAY HERE. This place is not worth more that $50 a night and I can assure you that charge a lot more than that. I just feel sorry for the poor Japanese tourists that probably got raped in charges to stay at this 'modern three building complex' and got this.

We were gifted a night at this hotel and were really looking forward to it as it was our first night away in 10 months. We were aware that the checking in time was 2pm but thought we would go early to enjoy a swim before our room was ready. Unfortunately this request was met with an unwelcome response. We could not check in until two and you need a key for the pool, so it wasn't really OK. We were eventually allowed to check in and were given the key to the room, so we could use the pool, but were told we could not go to the room until 2pm We decided to go to the Hope Island marina for some lunch rather than use the pool as it all seemed like far too much effort. We did eventually use the pool and were surprised at how cloudy the water was. Nevertheless we did enjoy a swim in the pool. Our ground floor room was lovely, clean and spacious. There was no balcony to speak of and no furniture outside to use, which was disappointing. We were relaxing in our room at 9pm and heard some really loud banging noises which literally made the room shudder. We went to have a look and found that the gym was a few door along and someone was using the weights and dropping them on the ground, the noise was extraordinary. In the morning we sitting in our room having breakfast when 4 gentlemen walked up to our door from the outside and tried to put the key in the door to get in to our room. We got up and banged on the window, but the gentleman didn't see or hear us, they did walk away though. Thank goodness we had locked the door from the inside otherwise we would have had visitors for breakfast. We were very disappointed in this resort and would not recommend it to friends and family.

This was advertised as 5 star luxury and we found 2 star filth! Mould in rooms on curtains and ripped lounge and broken chairs nothing worked and no working room phone for 2 weeks! the biggest regret of my life - no health and safety standards here! Free wi fi that is so weak you have to use up your own data!

We had a 2 bedroom apt with King beds, the mattresses were a little old but firm and the place was clean. We had 2 bathrooms with a powder room, and most of the basic cook ware and crockery. The air cons worked well though one had a little squeak but nothing too distracting. What I like is there a Coles supermarket not very far away and you can shop and eat in the apt or go our for meals. The parking is secure and undercover. It close to the theme parks. The only down side is there are no BBQs on the balconies and you have to book the BBQs in the pool area. There is nice seating and tables in the pool area for BBQs but we would have preferred to cook on our balcony - but a minor thing. Our room was on the ground or level one and whilst it was school vacation the noise was not disruptive.
