The property is beautiful and very well kept. Easy to maneuver around from start to finish. The check in process was fast and everyone at the counter was super nice and helpful. The carts that help with luggage, moved efficiently and quickly getting everyone settled. Rooms were clean, stocked, and the temperature was nice and cool. The food was great and had a big variety. The staff at the main food area was always so nice and went above and beyond no matter how busy they were. Lala was amazing and always had a smile on her face. From what I saw, she was like that with everyone. Whatever she gets paid, its not enough on how that woman is always on the go. There was always something to do at the resort. The animation group was amazing in keeping everyone entertained. You can tell that they truly love their jobs because they gave it their all...EVERYDAY. We scheduled a tour and that was extremely fun. The man that schedules you was friendly and helpful as well. I went this time with no kids and saw how much the kids there had fun. I would absolutely love to repeat my visit with my children here.

Our stay at the Bahia Principe Grand La Romana was not what we expected. When checked in we were told that our room had on king size bed and a small. bed. I told them that was unacceptable as my reservation stated four person and was supposed to include two beds in the room. The rooms need to be modernized. Our room bedit was loose and shook. Also the bathroom in our room had an bad odor from the water. coming out from the shower and toilets. Food was ok but not great, We had a better time at Bahia Fantasia at Punta Cana than at this Resort. The staff was great and very pleasant. Another thing that we noticed when we arrived was the lack of parking at the resort. We drove and had to wait 15 minutes for a parking spot. We will not be back to this Bahia Resort.

Everything of the hotel was very nice. Staff, food, room, bed, location, was great. I didn’t like : NOT HOTELS FAULT First in the backyard of my room I put some clothes hanging out to dry and saw a girl (guest next door) trying to steal it and I ask her what she was doing and she said she “mistaked room”, then after that I saw some other guests (which their bedrooms where close to pool) stealing peoples thing while people where inside the pool. They tried to steal my stuff and I stopped them. They send kids to steal. They looked residents. I informed the staff and they were going to intervene. I recommend the hotel to but cameras facing every side of rooms.

The staff is what makes the resort so enjoyable! Decent food, they do have a lot of fruits and veggies . And lots of options. The pool is beautiful, but you can see a lot of areas that need fixing or replacing. The rooms are also very dated. Our AC was broken, we couldn’t shut it off and a technician came to “fix it” but he didn’t . The only way we discovered to shut it off was to disconnect it from the wall. The bedding was also not very comfortable. The blanket was heavy and rough. And they had weird sheets. We did enjoy all the activities, and they also keep the kids engaged and entertained .

The security guard will take your bag if you leave it by the pool and empty it out and not give you back your stuff inside. Manager told me my sunscreen was taken by someone when I saw it on the counter behind her. Make that make sense. The food was tasteless in the buffet there were only a few good things. Two out of the five of us got sick and we think it was the buffet food. The restaurants were nice and good and had good service. Our rooms (which had two toddlers) was next to where they did the shows in the adult only resort and none of us could go to sleep until well past midnight. There’s was almost no outlets in the room and the AC would work sometimes and sometimes not The bathroom door wouldn’t close at all The bartenders are not nice and have an attitude Power was on and off on the last day do NOT come to this resort there are so many better ones out there
