I booked 2 bedrooms unit. Upon checking which was way too long although I was the only guest, I got no information rather than the need to use the key for the elevator. As the ads in booking.com Mentioned that the facility has free wifi I was not worried. Upon coming back from dinner by 8:30 not too late I assume, I was about to start my work. To my surprise no wifi was available. Not free nor paid. Could not get access or stable signal. None! I rang to the number I found at the reception (no info available in the room)... and I was waiting to a message girl asking me to wait while she tries to contact the manager. The manger solution was to come and Seat by the pool 12C outside! Or try my luck with a paid wifi. This did not work. In fact none worked...! Which is known for poor service is a new level of poor service. But I did not give up. I tried To find and Connect to a paid service. None was available. I got a repeated messages that the service is Not available! Forget wifi, list cause in this facility. Next day we back from work by 5 pm. Found that no service was provided, no fresh towels no toilet paper no soap. Nothing! I called the number I called the day before. Similar reply. Sorry we can't do much it is5 pm...! You need to Go to the nearby store and buy what we needed... I can't imagine such service. No information is provide to guests. No service is available on site. This feels as nothing like service apartments or proper customer service oriented facility Wrong place to stay!!!!
We stayed in the Penthouse on the top floor, it was a very enjoyable experience with our own lap pool and sauna and fantastic views. The building exits straight into the Broad-beach restaurant and bar area, 3 minutes walk to Woolworth's supermarket, simply a fantastic stay, will stay again.
I've stayed at these apartments 4-5 times in the last 6-7 years and love it So much going for it - location, modern apartments, great views and good staff. Our last stay this a month saw a few things in the apartment needing repairs. In that regard it's getting a little tired. Or the cleaners need to look more closely when cleaning to see these little things. The place was clean but not sparkling. Maybe they're on a time limit and can't possibly do the job that is required. The major things were very clean. Would go there again. Like a home away from home
This is our groups second visit to the Aria & it was still up to our expectations. The staff were very obliging, the position is fantastic as it is close to the beach, restaurants & shopping & the rooms were clean with spacious balconies & views of the ocean. The only complaint was paying for wifi which cut out regularly & only had reception in the lounge area of the room.
Excellent location, close to restaurants, shops, beach and the convention center which was why we were in town. First room was a bit dated and tired looking but due to issue with aircon we were quickly moved to another room which was much better. Found pool and BBQ facilities very good although pool does lose sun early in day. Staff were very friendly and helpful with little thing like providing a bucket and shovel kit for kids to use at beach. Also had roadworks on during stay which we were not warned about prior to arriving.
The hotel was presented with a dirty kitchen floor, strong dampness smelling shower... dirty carpets... television that crapped itself in the loungeroom... when addressed with the cleanliness with housekeeping they agreed, right after they told me the room had been "spring cleaned" two days previously (I thought they were joking!!!). Complaints fell on deaf ears to Brad the Manager. Great location... that's about it. They advertised free wifi but that is only free on the ground floor. Very disappointed. Paid alot of money for an 8 day stay for a dirty and disappointing apartment.
We booked two nights at Aria at a cost of $800.00 upon arrival we were very disappointed. Filthy dirty carpets, dusty room, cigarette burns in the bedside table and worst of all mauld throughout the bathroom ceiling. The apartment was not up to a standard of $400 per night. When this was discussed with reception the lady advised she would have the Manager inspect, the Manager never attended our apartment or followed up with a phone call. Upon returning home after our stay I contacted Aria and spoke to a lovely lady who requested I put my complaint in writing. I expressed my concerns in the email and requested that the Manager contact me however I am still waiting. Aria will take your money but will not manage the property to the standard it should be managed at and you will leave very disappointed. Firstly - hygiene is first and foremost if you can't manage the mauld in the bathroom then you should not rent out the apartment. Customer service - Aria management do not care they hide behind the fact that the units are privately owned, however they book them out under their booking system and name. A simple rule if you can't manage the owners to upgrade their apartments then they should not be in the letting pool for rent there are simple standards that are required. Our next step is to send our feedback and pictures to the health department. Don't be fooled by the shiny pictures and nice furniture because there is no guarantee you will receive what you think you have paid for, avoid the disappointment.
Got the "wotif" room low with a breathtaking view of roadworks , as a bonus the room above ours (privately owned) was being renovated even sat/sun noise drove us nuts, we asked to be moved but staff could not care less, to be fair they did make the tradesman stop lunchtime Sunday , never stayed anyware before that would not have moved us strait away considering the noise especially as the place was nearly empty. The facilities were quite good and the room itself was nice. Speaking to reception staff was just like dealing with a rental agent definitely not a concierge . Such a shame could be a good venue but we would not go back!
We stayed 9 days first week of school holidays. Pros: Our two bed and two bathroom apartment was very modern, clean and kitchen facilities was well equipped. Secure underground parking, great outdoor pool and spa. Oasis shopping centre and lots of restaurants at your door step. Cons: our apartment on the seventh floor looked straight into the top floor of an office block, you only get ocean views between buildings. Mattress in master bedroom was way too soft, by the end of the week husband and I both ended up with sore neck and back.
We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment with my 2 kids plus my sister in law and her 3 kids. The apartment was huge, very modern, great balcony with lovely views. Carpark right under the building. Pool is nice. So close to beach, shops, parks. Great spot.
