The service is poor. You can see the staff is trying but they are not the best. Very sloppy. Sitting around not being available. The food is a very hit and miss the drinks are cheap if you are staying at the bar. Cheapest pints in cayman.

What an amazing location to enjoy the sunset, mixing with the locals and enjoying a great curry. I am not a driver myself but you can appreciate the location and enjoy great food. The MADRAS SHRIMP is to be recommended ....although be warned portions are large.

We took a group of divers to Sunset House in November of 2018. Emma and Kim were great to work with from the front office. Kat at the dive shop and all the staff were great. We enjoyed the location of the resort easy walk to downtown. The shore diving was great very easy entry. The boat dives were well organized and everyone had a great time. The staff at the resort were very friendly the food was excellent. Thank you Sunset House.

Our annual spring dive trip brought us to Grand Cayman this year. We decided to stay at the Sunset House from our dive club recommendations and reviews. Our expectations were certainly met. The trip was fantastic. Accommodations: The rooms were clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. The ac was quiet and kept the room cool. The bathrooms were clean, and fresh towels were restocked daily. The beds were made daily and rooms cleaned. The landscaping seemed to be maintained nicely and there wasn’t one bit of litter. I’d have to say the property was kept very nice. The only improvements we thought they could make was adding a water cooler closer to the room. Walking to the restaurant every time for water was a little inconvenient. The other issue was they had only one umbrella at the pool that was broken. There should have been at least a half dozen for the guest to relax under near the pool. Food: The food at the bar and restaurant was very good. The Indian food was spicy and delicious. The fish sandwich was also fantastic. Breakfast was provided with our package and was good for a few days. It got a little old after a few days. A bigger selection would have been nice. Food on the island was extremely expensive compared to any place we have ever been. Overall we ate quite well. Scuba Diving: When we arrived we checked in and got our dive locker and weights. The dive shop seemed laidback and friendly. We were scheduled on a small boat all week which turned out to be fantastic since the big boats were packed. At first it seemed like a cattle operation that made me nervous. They had boat rules and briefings that seemed a bit much at first. They actually were a great dive operation. They gave an hour bottom time. Didn’t restrict your depth or constantly ask for air pressures. The staff in all were great. Reid certainly deserves a big acknowledgement. He made the experience that much better. The shore dives were great and easy along with night diving from shore. We made 20 dives in 7 days. The Kittiwake was a cool dive but I wouldn’t pay for it again. Stingray City was worth the experience. That was fun and a great experience. Overall: The trip was fantastic. We enjoyed the island, diving, and the resort. Grand Cayman will be on our future dive destination again as well as the Sunset House.

The sunset house was a perfect base of operations for an 8 day Grand Cayman trip. It offers real world prices, comfortable accommodation and a convenient spot for post dive lunches. Staff was friendly.

This place has great food (probably the best Indian food on the island) beautiful sunsets but the service isn't all that. It can be slow and some of the staff are a bit miserable It can be hit and miss. Gets busy at weekends

Fantastic Crew!! They have everething that you need to live an amazing experience. I really loved this trip. Instructors dive masters was looking after us all the time!! Stingray behaved like cats with us. The sunset is unforgettable. I will be back soon.

From the moment we met Kat at reception we knew Sunset was the place we were looking for. Kat was extremely helpful and knowledgable. On arrival for the course our son was understandably apprehensive as any 12 year old would be,Tyler was an excellent, patient and thorough instructor throughout. Would highly recommend Sunset Divers.

It really is Sunset House. We had a really enjoyable evening here. Amazing views and take your snorkels as there is a ladder into the clear sea with beautiful fish all around you. The food was delicious for meat eaters and pescatarians, however not much choice for vegetarians.

The bar and restaurant behind the big pink building is terrific. The bar is under a grass-hut roof, and there are plenty of tables with umbrellas. The beer and food selections are both extensive with reasonable prices. We had delicious fish tacos but may go back to try some of the Indian cuisine! There are ladders down into the water for some great snorkeling from shore.
