I wasn't thrilled, but the price was excellent and the ease of getting to the airport on the bus next morning was a big help for me. The price was very affordable. The staff member who checked me in was kind and helpful. My room was clean, but it certainly is a shabby place. The entrance is so unwelcoming. Very unfortunate, but in the end, I felt safe and am grateful to have found a place that is so convenient for the airport.
please do your self a favor and don't stay here, rooms are filthy, beds are rock hard, service is non-existent, not to mention if you plan to check-in after 7pm you are doom, check la reserve just around the corner for a much pleasant stay
It's cheap for overpriced Geneva, but even if they pay me in future to stay at this "hotel", I will decline. Unbelievably bad. I've stayed in dumps before; nothing beats this. Doors close at 21h30 and you must then fetch at a hotel about half a kilometer away - not 200 meters as they say. An absolute disgrace.
I can safely say that this is the worst hotel I've ever been to, including hostels where you have to sleep with 14 other strangers in a dormitory. The whole place is falling apart and it is dirty as anything. The shower is dangerous as it's so hot (50 degrees at least) and hard to regulate that it can burn you badly. The beds are uncomfortable to say the least and there's just no maintenance whatsoever. I spent two nights here and I'd get depressed by the thought of having to go back to the hotel when I was hanging around Geneva. My room had nothing else apart from the bed a desk and a half hanging curtain which nobody cared to put back in place so you couldn't even close this curtain all the way. The reception is closed after 9:30pm which kinda makes you feel uneasy. There are people hanging around inside this hotel in the evening and I didn't understand whether they were cleaning staff or other staff or just some foreigners taking refuge there. I'm not kidding. It looks like a refugee camp where my friend used to work. No wait that one was actually cleaner and newer! 2 stars because of the location: right after the border with Switzerland and a short bus ride from/to the airport (by Bus Y).
I booked this hotel in a rush and it was already paid otherwise I would leave the hotel immeditately. It was a very poor room, those kind of rooms you don't want to touch anything and even afraid to sit on their chair, the curtain, the wall everything is damped and with marks. it is more like a refugee camp rather than a place for tourist. 0.5 star for the transportation, they are located next to the border.
Do yourself a favour and don't stay there. The place is filthy! They offer a breakfast, but just a look at the place makes you not hungry. The staff is plan horrible. We had to wait 10 min to check in, because the guy was doing something "super important". He then proceeded to check us very slowly and with attitude like we offended his mother. The cleaning staff started knocking few times in the morning, despite us rejecting cleaning. We only came for one night, so it's rather clear we don't need cleaning?! They proceeded to clean the place so loudly like they did it on purpose. This is allegedly a no-smoking place, but everything was soaked in cheap cigarettes smell. See the standards of cleaning on the picture - yuck! Wifi - it is slow and drops off all the time. Once we were lucky to have it stable for 10 min. The only BIG POSITIVE is the feeling when you leave this horrible place! Oh, and the check-out was quick. Shame, the location is fantastic - just on the border, very close to the airport and Marie Ferney Voltaire. But the place is a DUMP. DON'T GO THERE!
Great location to go to the French side of the airport with a rented car, just cross the road and you are there, but hotel state is poor, room and bathroom smells cigarette's smoke, damp mark everywhere on the walls, carpet hovered, but very spoiled, toilet seat not great, bathroom bin broken, well, is you stay on transit from 23:00 to 8:00, at the price, it's great choice to just sleep, but don't expect the world.
I had a flight early in the morning so was looking for a airport hotel. Booked through Expedia for 70 euros a night. My stay here was really horrible. There was no one at reception so had to go another hotel for access code. Rooms were stinky and cramped. Linens were dirty and smelly. My room was close to highway so all the night we had vehicle noises. Beds are too small and couldn't fit two adults. I will suggest to avoid this hotel even if it is free. I wish I would you spent my night at airport.
After our air bnb cancelled last minute we were desperate for a hotel for a one night stopover in Geneva. We arrived in the evening to the hotel and met an incredibly rude man on the reception desk. The hotel entrance and reception area was a mess, it looked like the back of a warehouse with junk everywhere. As there was no elevator we carried our things up the stairs to the second floor. Upon entering the room it was clear that it had not been cleaned for us. The bedsheets were crumpled in a heap at the foot of the bed, the curtain had been half ripped from the wall, there were damp stains along the wall and floor and the bathroom was disgusting. We went straight back downstairs with our bags to reception. The man on the front desk was rude and aggressive, insisting it was not his problem as it wasn't his job to sort out the rooms. Eventually after a lot of shouting he gave us another room which appeared to have been made up. The room however STANK of cigarette smoke, particularly the bed and the blankets. The room was freezing cold despite the radiator being on. The stench of stale cigarettes was so strong that we couldn't even touch the bed. The whole place was awful. We left very early in the morning and couldn't wait to escape. However, despite being advertised as an airpot hotel it was actually not easy to get back and forth from the airport. The hotel is actually in France so taxi drivers and ubers were refusing to take the journey or it was very expensive for such a short ride. The bus that passes in front of the hotel doesn't start running till 6:30am so we had to walk in the dark along very dangerous roads with no pavement and around the back of the airport. Obviously the reception staff were not useful in helping us to arrange a taxi. We would have been better off sleeping at the airport.
This hotel is for people on a budget. It's scruffy but I didn't find it dirty. The bedsheets and bath towels were immaculate. The rest of the decor is old, like an old Eastern European youth hostel. But it was cheap, it was five minutes bus ride from Geneva airport, and the desk clerk spoke good English and was very helpful. Excellent free wifi. I've stayed in much more expensive hotels whose wifi was not nearly as good.
