Wonderful location but limited lake views. Excellent service including a very good spa. Bar menu could be more diverse. Lovely staff throughout. Room very large and comfortable, good bathroom with nice toiletries.
This restaurant is superb. The service is excellent and the food is sublime. We have tried most things on the menu but I would strongly recommend their turbot, should it be available; its accompanying sauce is fantastic. It takes 'fine dining' to a whole new level...
From the minute our taxi arrived and the smiling porter took our luggage, we knew we were in a great hotel. Super friendly and easy check in. Excellent assistance with explaining the many services offered by the hotel and how things worked in our room. Lovely room on 4th floor overlooking the lake with the Brunswick Memorial right in front of us. Large bathroom with a double shower. Not a large room but very well appointed. Wet and cold outside. Warm and sunny inside. Concierge directed us to fabulous lunch place. Staff made you feel like a valued and welcome frequent visitor - even though it was our first visit to Le Richemond. Fabulous location - easy to walk to and from the shops, the old town and the railway. Super attentive, friendly and helpful staff in the dining room. Fantastic breakfasts. Wifi and internet worked well. Quiet room - slept really well in the super comfortable king size bed. Chocolates and fruit on arrival. Coffee machine in our room. Hot milk delivered on request at 6am by friendly waiter smartly dressed. Can't say enough nice things about the concierge and reception staff. Thank you everyone at Le Richemond for making our first visit to Geneva a most memorable experience.
Very nice and good hotel Very good location very near the city center Every thing in this hotel is very good The staff .....no words they are so nice and jumping to help I will always prefer this hotel over the others
You really can't beat the location of Le Richemond in Geneva. The hotel itself was very nice and stylish. What really stood out though was how genuinely friendly and attentive the staff were. We were sad to checkout.
We had an amazing stay at Le Richemond. The room was big, the location of the hotel is great and the staff is professional, friendly and very attentive. The food at both the hotel bar and the hotel restaurant is above average, and the breakfast is too. The staff has great knowledge of thing to do in the area, and you can trust their advice on what activites you should go for.
After reading the reviews for many of the hotels in this area of Geneva I selected Le Richemond for our stay in the city and I am so glad that I did. One of the reasons I chose the hotel was for the terraces that some of the lake view rooms have. I reserved one of these rooms and was looking forward to enjoying the fresh air and view of the lake. Imagine our surprise when we were upgraded to an amazing suite with a large patio! We had room service every night so that we could enjoy the spectacular view with our meal. The room was comfortable, well appointed and a lovely place to relax. The towels were large and fluffy, there were numerous toiletries and the bed was comfortable. Monsieur Amarouche, the Maîre d'hôtel was such a delight. Always greeting us with a cheery good morning and of course remembering what we liked for breakfast. The staff in Le Jardin were all very cordial and met every need. In fact, staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful; front desk, concierge, room service and housekeeping, everyone we interacted with had a smile and saw to our needs quickly. The hotel is located in a wonderful location overlooking a small park and a view of the water jet. The walk along the lake is beautiful. You can walk to the old town to enjoy the cafes and shop. There are lake cruises and sightseeing tours just steps from the hotel. It was a perfect place to spend a few days in Geneva. Bravo to Monsieur Hitly and Madame Croisier for running such a top notch hotel. It was such a pleasure to stay at Le Richemond, I hope to return to Geneva next year and look forward to staying there again!
We have just spent the weekend at this lovely hotel. It was great! The position is excellent, next to the lake and a short walk from the shopping area. The hotel is well maintained with a feel of history. The public areas are extremely pleasant. We spent time in the bar which was very relaxing. The rooms are comfortable with really large luxurious bathrooms. All the staff were very attentive and friendly! We felt very well looked after, with attention to detail. I would definitely recommend it.
We stayed at this hotel for a week in April. This is a very nice hotel with wonderful staff which really makes this a special hotel. Although there are very little amenities, no swimming pool and only one restaurant. The spa is beautiful but limited. The room was very nice but we did ask for a lake view and paid more for a better room but they were not able to help which was the only disappointing aspect of our stay. We thought that more could have even done as we were staying a week. We would have liked a coffee and tea facility in the room. This was not available. Hotel is very expensive, but Geneva is a very expensive place to stay. The hotel went the extra mile and made me a surprise birthday cake. Thank you for that.
Everything was great about our top-floor room with a large balcony and view of the park and lake, except for a pillar jutting into the room (702) that created a slightly cramped feeling. Great service and amazing breakfast included.
