Great hotel at decent price for swiss

Bed was very comfortable, small kitchen was great, and shower pressure was strong. Only downside is the coffee for the provided coffee machine are not refilled daily. Was a little out of the way so I’ve you not up for walking 12-15 mins to the old town but it is a very nice walk alongside the lakeside and stop for a coffee at a local stop. Number 15 tram drop off one street away from the hotel.

This was our second stay at Drake Longchamp. We love the location and staff are very friendly and helpful. Room spotless and lovely water pressure for bathing. Very quiet, can’t hear any noise from corridors of neighbouring rooms. It’s great having the kitchenette as we don’t have to spend money dining out. It would be even better if we were given some tea and coffee for the room.

Exterior of the hotel was being refurbished, therefore, the windows were obscured by the scaffolding. I expected better value for the price. However, it is conveniently located near the central train station and the metro. Also, many restaurant options within five minute walk. The room was quite small compared to all of the hotels we stayed at during our month long European vacation.

Loved the hotel, cause it was close to the river, shops and not too far away from the bus station.I liked the fact that it had a kitchenette making it easier to cook something light. I was very fortunate to have a renovated executive room which was airy, inviting, spacious, with ample storage and sitting/ writing/ breakfast facilities. The kitchenette was thoughtfully appointed.Travel pass provided by the hotel ensured seamless sightseeing and convenient food shopping at nearby coop and lidl ( good prices, fresh produce). *I had read a review above shampoo/ conditioner not being provided - and had packed my own.
