Perfect for my stay, would definitely stay again here.

Stayed a week here while on travel in Geneva. It started out kind of rough, as I needed an early check-in and none was available. I've never had an issue with early checkin at any Geneva hotel before this, so I was surprised. They sent me over to the sister property, Hotel Cornavin, where they took great care of me and I was able to get ready for my day. When I did check in, I first was sent to a dirty room. I also requested down-free bedding, as I am allergic. I was told that they really didn't know whether they had a blanket I could use, and when I checked again a few minutes later the clerk was very short with me and said he hadn't had time to find out yet. I just wanted to go to sleep, as I'd been up traveling then working for about 28 hours at that point, but I had to wait and wait to find out about whether I'd have hypoallergenic bedding. Other staff were very nice overall and I appreciated them very much. One night, I came back to the hotel around 2 am and found the doors locked and no answer to the phone, waited for about 15 minutes and finally went to Cornavin Hotel (sister property) where a call was made, and I walked back and was let in. That was a little unsettling because I didn't feel safe standing around waiting in that area at that time of night. So late night access was definitely an issue.

Hotel is conveniently located next to the train station with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Bus station and city center are within walking distance. However the neighborhood is noisy and the noise lasted almost all night. Rooms are spacious, clean and modern in design. Having only one chair in the room was not convenient. Room did not have a bottle opener or a corkscrew. Hotel staff spoke good English, was helpful and attentive.

It seems as the star due to its internal illumination. Very nice concept, specific lighting in a decently simple room, which makes a stay even more memorable. Perfect location, good value.

Clean hotel and room, modern decor, easy walking distance to lake (15 minutes), restaurants, historic district. 5 minute walk to train station,for easy back and forth to airport. Hotel staff helpful with providing walking tours, restaurant recommendations.

Clean and quiet. Great location and very easily accessible, right across the street from Gare Cornavin (the main train station). Lots of restaurants, bureaux de changes, banks etc within 5 mins walking distance. Basic amenities provided- a place to sleep and shower. No frills. Good hotel if you just need a place to recupe before moving on. Would recommend.

Somewhat small room with all you need for short stay. Very clean, functional with IKEA like design touches. Single room is truly a single room, not family size. although you cann't go wrong if location and pricing are of essence to you.

I needed a place to stay near the Geneva train station that was not too expensive (for Geneva!). This hotel fit the bill. Modern, clean rooms. I had a single room with a twin bed- great for 1 person. Decent WiFi, near lots of restaurants and shopping. Very convenient to the airport.

Staff most pleasant; small but tidy room with large bath. Coffee/ tea maker provided. AC worked. Handy to train station which is 6 minutes to airport. 10 minute walk to old town which is a fun place to explore and dine.

We chose Hotel Cristal for its location, we wanted easy access to the train to Geneva airport. The Hotel is very close to the train and bus station as well as many bars and restaurants. This is convenient but noisy. We could hear people on the street all night long. The room is modern and sparse. The walls to the bathroom are frosted glass, so if you like privacy, this is not the hotel for you. In addition, the bathroom had an awful mildew smell, even though it looked clean. There are other hotels in Geneva in the same price range that offer more comfortable rooms and more helpful staff.

The rooms are excellent, new and spacious. Good wifi, extra large showers lots of storage space and comfy beds. They even have windows that open. The only downside is and expensive breakfast given the minimal but adequate selection.

Quick access to train for getting back and forth to the airport (only one stop away). Everything was neat and clean but, as others have said, the rooms are a bit funky to say the least! ...a lot of glass and mirrors! My wife, adult daughter and I stayed in the same room and it worked out OK...small but not too cramped, although we only had to stay for one night so that helped. The receptionists at the front desk were extremely helpful with recommendations about what to do and where to go.

I stayed here with 2 others just for the night, and found it to be the best of the 3 hotels I've used in Geneva so far. Very ultra-modern (felt a bit like Star- Trek :) ), but I liked the uniqueness of it. All needs met, and the continental breakfast on the 8th floor was SUPERB! It was close to the Cornavin train station, but on a quiet street, unlike the last one I stayed at, close by. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great location and price. Rooms are especially clean and modern, maybe too modern for some people but it worked for me. Room is small and laid out Efficiently like a on a cruise ship. No breakfast, but lots of patisseries nearby to choose from. Especially fast Internet and it is free!

Clean, modern, and high tech, this hotel meets the basic needs of a traveller. The room and bathroom are tiny but creatively designed, reminiscent of a cruise ship layout. If the price is right this a reliable hotel.

Designer rooms are small yet well arranged. TV panels could have been bigger. The only set back is no breakfast service.

Very handy hotel 2 min away from train statioin, modern clean and at a very decent price, it my case at least. Definitly recommendable.

It was very close to the train station - I bascially walked through the "metro shopping" area and it was there on the left corner as soon as I reached sunlight. EXCELLENT! Only about 15min walk down to Lake Geneva, where you can see Jet d'Eau in front of you. There are street signs everywhere that point you in the right direction of this hotel, which was great! The staff weren't as attentive as I had hoped and security in the main lobby was a little questionable - I left my suitcase in the "large baggage room" (which actually only had enough space for about 10 suitcases) but it didn't even lock and anyone could walk right in off the street, go in the room, and take it without the staff noticing. Other than that, the room was quaint and great for one student.
