The cabin itself was very dated. The front and back deck both need to be pressure-washed, cleaned and restained. It rained quite a bit while we were there and we slipped on the decks several times due to lack of maintenance. the inside of the cabin was charming, but there were several cracks in the cross beam, walls and in the flooring that raised some concerns about structural integrity of the cabin. the back half of the house is literally sloping down at about a 10 degree grade. There were also dead bees on the floor near the back of the house when we first arrived and we had one get into the house through one of the back windows during our stay. The frame of the sofa bed just about broke when one of us tried to sit on it and the chairs and tables on the back deck were covered in a layer of grime and bird feces. The appliances worked just fine, but the stove was quite dated. The bathrooms were fine, but the tiles were cracked and in need of replacing and in need of regrouting in some places. The shower heads were also in need of major cleaning. The Wifi was excellent and the beds and sofa were quite comfy. The inside of the house, despite the dead bugs, was quite clean. I couldn't find dust anywhere. We also were provided with everything we needed to cook our food. The last thing I would note is that some of the surge protectors throughout the house heated up quite a bit when we used them to charge our phones.
