The apartment is located in the center of the village of Gardone Riviera Alto. As you will close the entrance door you will leave the village at your back and you will enjoy a total and private contact with the lake.

The apartment benefits from a beautiful and wide view of the whole Garda basin. It is located on a rock which is eighty meters over the lake and overlooks a private park. The apartment has a big terrace where you can have your meals and relax in the sun enjoying the Garda breeze and the lake view.

The courtyard entrance is part of an old monastery of the 17th century. The apartment has just been renovated in a modern and tasteful style.

In this location your privacy is guaranteed and at the same time you can live the typical Italian village life. Bakery, butchery, greengrocer, restaurants and bars are just next door. The nearest beach is within five minutes walking distance, the nearest supermarket is five minutes drive away, Salò, the nearest town, is ten minutes drive away. Private parking place is just two hundred meters away.

Cleaning procedure: we sanitise the entire house with PMC (Presidio Medico Chirurgico) brand products, the only ones approved to kill bacteria/viruses.
In addition, upon request, we can carry out an ozone treatment, one of the world's best odour removers and non-chemical sanitisers. This machine can deeply purify an environment, even all fabrics, mattresses, pillows, etc. It eliminates all bacteria and viruses that a previous host may have left behind. The additional cost for this treatment is calculated on request.

Pets are welcome, but we do not accept more than one dog/cat and charge a fee of 75 €.

Lovely apartment and location

The apartment is excellent in all respects, with Gardone Riviera (alto) a perfect location above the lake with the apartment providing a wonderful terrace overlooking the lake. Lake Garda itself is a gem. A car is advisable to explore, but parking is provided nearby at no additional cost.

Very nice appartment - you feel at home!

We stayed in Laura's appartment last year in August for a week and really enjoyed it. The appartment is on the top floor of an old monastery with a private entrance. It is newly renovated and you have more than enough space. We stayed there with our two little children and they instantly felt at home. There are two bathrooms, one ensuite to the master bedroom and the other one just next to the second bedroom. We very much liked the interior design and style, which is very modern but also combined with classical elements. Everything is very clean and well maintained. You have a beautiful view over Lake Garda from a large terrace you can enter either from the living room or the master bedroom. The flat is equipped with everything you need and Laura is always helpful if you need anything additional or information on Gardone Riviera or the surroundings. Next to the flat there a few little shops that can provide you with all basic things you need. We especially liked the fruit and vegetable shop next door - the owner is very nice and the goods sold are excellent quality. A few steps down the roads there are a few restaurants so basically everything you need is withing walking distance. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definately come back!

Modern, Spacious Apartment with Unbeatable View

Having just returned from a week staying in the Alloro apartment I am already missing the place! The apartment really is stunning. The view from balcony is truly out of this world! In fact, not only the balcony, as there are three large windows overlooking the same view. The location of Gardone Riviera means the lake stretches around both to the left and right as well as straight ahead. This gives you a really panoramic view that is perfect to take in from the apartment balcony. As if the view wasn't enough, the apartment itself is clean, spacious, and modern - making it a perfect place to relax no matter what the weather. On the doorstep you have some amazing restaurants, a very friendly bakery (which also acts as a small convenience store), an extremely helpful local produce store, and a well-stocked butcher. There is also a tourist train/bus that runs virtually from the door of the apartment down to the promenade and back. This is great for getting around and saves you the walk back up the hill after a few drinks! If you choose to stay here I would also recommend visiting a restaurant called Sans Souci which is located on one of the side streets off the main promenade in Gardone Riviera. Laura was extremely helpful from the first contact all the way through to our arrival and departure. I have no hesitation in recommending the Alloro and we will definitely be looking to stay here again in the future.

Traumhafte Unterkunft - mitten im Dorf

Die Unterkunft entspricht der Beschreibung, sie ist traumhaft! Fantastische Aussicht, sehr sauber, ruhig und trotzdem sehr zentral, kurzum perfekt für unseren Familienurlaub mit Hund. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die tolle, ruhige Lage mitten im Dorf, die Gastfreundschaft und die guten Restaurants, welche wir bequem zu Fuss erreichen konnten. Unser kleiner Hund war jederzeit und überall in den Restaurants willkommen, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Tolle Ferienwohnung mit traumhaftem Ausblick auf den Gardasee

Da wir erst am Abend am Gardasee eintrafen, wurden wir sehr freundlich vom Eigentümer Stefano (sprach englisch) empfangen. Der Pelletofen brannte und es war kuschelig warm. Unser erster Eindruck von der Wohnung war super. Sauber, frisch renoviert, ein tolles Haus mit hohen Decken und Sicht in den Dachgiebel. Der Blick am Morgen war überwältigend. Die Morgensonne ließ den See hell glitzern und man hatte eine überwältigende Aussicht über den See bis zu den Bergen. Die Korrespondenz mit Paola von der Agentur klappte super in deutsch und wir bekamen viele Tipps zu Restaurants in der Gegend. Kurzum: ein entspannter Urlaub in der Nebensaison zum Abschalten in einer tollen Ferienwohnung.

Der Kontakt zu Laura / Paola, klappte tadellos. Jede Frage wurde uns umgehend beantwortet. Bedingt durch das hohe Verkehrsaufkommen, kamen wir erst um 19:00 Uhr an, würden aber sehr freundlich von Jacopo abgeholt. In der Wohnung wartete eine Flasche sehr leckerer Sekt und ein großes Stück Käse - vielen Dank dafür. Der erste Schritt auf die Terrasse mit herrlichem Blick auf den See hat uns die Strapazen der Anreise sofort vergessen lassen - traumhaft. Die Wohnung ist großzügig geschnitten und ansprechend eingerichtet. Alles war sehr sauber. Natürlich ist die Terrasse das absolute Highlight. Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter - könnten sogar auf der Terrasse frühstücken. Beim Bäcker direkt gegenüber, haben wir täglich Brötchen geholt und beim Gemüseladen neben an alles, was man so benötigt. Alle waren sehr nett, so dass man sich gleich sehr wohl gefühlt hat. Wir haben die Woche sehr genossen und können die Ferienwohnung unbedingt weiterempfehlen. Lediglich der Wasserdruck ließ etwas zu wünschen übrig, was wahrscheinlich dem Alter des Hauses, geschuldet ist.

Außergewöhnliche Wohnung mit tollem Blick über den See

Wir hatten mit 8 Personen beide Wohnungen (Alloro und Bougainville) für eine Woche im Oktober gemietet und uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Bougainville liegt unterhalb von Alloro, beide Wohnungen sind vom Innenhof über einen seperaten Eingang begehbar. Insgesamt ist die Wohnung Bougainville sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Besonders haben wir die Abende unter dem Gewölbe der gemütlichen Küche genossen. Zu acht fanden wir ausreichend Platz am quadratischen Holztisch. Die Schlafräume sind über eine relativ steile Treppe vom Eingangsbereich der Wohnung zu erreichen. Für gehbehinderte oder ältere Personen könnte das etwas schwierig sein. Vom Wohnzimmer und dem Schlafzimmer hat man einen wunderschönen Blick über den gesamten südlichen Gardasee. Das zweite Schlafzimmer ist relativ klein und durch die verriegelte satinierte Tür etwas dunkel. Durch das kleine Fenster daneben, blickt man direkt in den Garten der Eigentümer. Da das Fenster nicht kippbar ist, ist es schwierig, nachts bei geöffnetem Fenster zu schlafen. Das Restaurant, das sich neben der Wohnung befindet und dessen Terrasse unmittelbar angrenzt, hat uns nicht gestört, allerdings war im Oktober dort auch nicht mehr viel los. Im Sommer könnten die Musik und die Gespräche der Gäste etwas störend sein. Die Kommunikation mit Laura war von der Buchung bis zur Abreise sehr angenehm, freundlich, prompt und unkompliziert. Der historische Teil von Gardone, in der die Wohnung liegt, ist ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß vom See entfernt. Der Ort an sich ist bildschön, man ist umgeben von Garten- und Parkanlagen, die Vittoriale d´Annunzio sowie der Heller-Garten sind innerhalb weniger Minuten zu erreichen. Auch eine Bäckerei, eine Metzgerei, ein Obst- und Gemüseladen sowie mehrere Restaurants liegen unmittelbar vor der Haustüre. Für einen Aufenthalt im Sommer würde mir ein Pool fehlen, aber für einen Herbsturlaub war die Wohnung perfekt und ist sehr empfehlenswert !

Atemberaubender Ausblick - Urlaub pur

Wir (Familie, zu viert) hatten das Appartement Alloro. Es liegt inmitten der Altstadt von Gardone, sehr reizvoll mit reichlich italienischem Flair. Man braucht aber etwas Nerven, um in den engen Gässchen zum Be- und Entladen vorzufahren. Laura hat uns vorher am Rathaus getroffen um uns den Weg mit der Vespa zu zeigen; Parken muss man dann auf einem reservierten Parkplatz außerhalb, aber noch in der Nähe. Das Appartement ist wie beschrieben - modern renoviert, geräumig und mit einer fantastischen Terasse wie auf dem Bild. Von der benachbarten Pizzeria und der Terasse des darunterlliegenden Appartements bekommt man erstaunlich wenig mit, es ist recht ruhig und blickgeschützt. Lediglich von der Arena in der nahegelegenen Vittoriale-Anlage (sehenswert!) hört man am Wochenende stattfindende Open-Air Konzerte. Im Juli/August ist man dankbar für die fein regulierbare Klimaanlage, die einen nachts bei hohen Aussen-Temperaturen auch bei geschlossenem Fenster gut schlafen lässt. Es gibt zwei Bäder mit Dusche und WC, lediglich das Bad am Elternschlafzimmer ist etwas klein geraten. Die Küche ist groß und es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Wir haben sie aber kaum genutzt sondern sind in die umliegenden Trattorien und Pizzerien essen gegangen - die Auswahl ist groß. Dennoch empfiehlt sich meistens eine rechtzeitige Reservierung, denn in der Hauptsaison ist es schnell voll. Schlecht war es nirgends; wenn man aber etwas Besonderes haben möchte, geht man ins Agli Angeli oder Antico Brolo, gut gefallen hat uns aber auch z.B. die Taverna del Borgo mit angeschlossener Vinothek, bei der man auch nachts noch ein Flasche Lugana zum mitnehmen bekommt. Am Seeufer gibt es natürlich noch weitere Lokalitäten bis hin zu einem Sterne-Restaurant. Direkt vor der Haustür sind neben einem Bankomat eine Bäckerei, ein Fleischer und ein Obst- und Gemüselädchen; so dass man tägliche Dinge wie Parmaschinken, Brioche und Melonen stets frisch bekommt. Alle sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, besonders, wenn man versucht, ein paar Wörter auf italienisch anzubringen. Mit Laura haben wir Englisch gesprochen, sie wohnt in der Nähe und hilft gerne bei Fragen und Problemen. In einer Mappe hat sie auch viele Informationen zu Stränden, Shops und Restaurants etc. zusammengestellt. Fazit: Tolles Appartement mit viel Flair und einer grandiosen Lage - wir werden wieder kommen!

Beautiful apartment in stunning location

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday. The apartment was absolutely stunning, spacious and beautifully furnished, with everything you would need - it really felt like our home. We travelled to most of the villages dotted around the lake, and personally preferred the west coast of the lake, which we found less touristy. There is a good selection of restaurants nearby and if you rent a car some spectacular views to be had from a number of them. In our opinion however, nothing beat the view from the terrace of the apartment, and coffee in the morning on the terrace with croissants from the little bakery a stones through away was one of our favourite times. A super apartment in a fabulous spot 5* Thank you for having us Laura

Eine wunderschöne Oase der Ruhe

Die Bilder versprechen nicht zu viel. Sowohl der Kontakt bei der Reservierung wie auch vor Ort waren super nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Excellent apartment

Perfect location, view fantastic as in the picture.Village through courtyard and door straight onto street with shops .Fresh pastries / cakes every morning. 10 mins walk to beach with sun beds to hire for 1euro per hour and a pier for kids to jump off for hours. Apartment spotless, lovely towels and sheets.kitchen had everything required. Laura responded to every e-mail promptly. She was a delight to meet. Helpful and efficient. Lots of restaurants near by but balcony view better than any of the restaurants . Totally recommend.

Spectacular views!!!

Given ... finding the place was a little bit challenging (even with GPS assistance), but I guess that is Italy with its small (one-way) streets. However, located in a quite pedestrian area close to a small, picturesque Piazza with several restaurants this place is DEFINETELY worth the challenge. Just reaching the apartment through a historic doorway and courtyard gave us a flair of authentic Italian living that we did not anticipate ... and after mastering quite some stairs with our luggage we were awarded with a "million dollar view" of Lake Garda. The vista is just breathtaking. The apartment itself is modern, spacious and extremely well equipped (in particular the kitchen). Our favorite thing was ending a day of exploring Lake Garda sitting on the terrace seeing the sun going down over the lake. Our host Laura was very accommodating and ensured that our vacation was truly memorable. This is not your typical vacation rental and if you are looking for a quite and authentic place to stay at Lake Garda (and are willing to walk a little bit) we can only recommend this place. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we did!

Ein Traum!

Die Lage in der Altstadt ist perfekt: alles an Infrastruktur direkt vor der Haustüre! Die Wohnung ist ausgesprochen geschmackvoll designt und großzügig geschnitten. Traumhaft ist die riesige Terasse mit einem gigantischen Seeblick. Es ist alles ausgesprochen sauber und ordentlich. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Toll sind auch die Umgebungstipps von Laura! Wir haben uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt und würden es sowohl empfehlen als auch wieder buchen! DANKE LAURA!

A wonderful stay, in a beautiful apartment

Our stay in Alloro was absolutely fantastic. The apartment is even more stunning than the photos show, and the views are incredible. Laura was a fantastic host, who kept in constant contact prior to our arrival and met us on the day we arrived to show us around. There was more than enough room for our family of five, and the apartment has everything you would require for your stay. The village of Gardonne Riviera is right on your doorstep, and has numerous places to eat aswell as a bakery and butchers. The nearby parking is also very helpful. We're looking forward to returning already!

Komfortable Ferienwohnung mit traumhafter Aussicht

Wir wurden freundlich von Laura empfangen und fühlten uns in der Wohnung sofort wohl. Da das Wetter im Juli SEHR schön war, und somit auch SEHR heiß, haben wir uns relativ viel in der Wohnung aufgehalten. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert gut, und die Wohnung ist so großzügig, dass man auch mit mehreren Erwachsenen komfortabel wohnen kann. Die Küche bietet alles, was man braucht, die Sitzgelegenheiten sind recht bequem, und auch der Fernseher ist für deutschsprachige Urlauber gut zu gebrauchen. Vor der Anreise machten wir uns leichte Sorgen darüber, wo wir unser Auto würden parken müssen, aber der Wagen stand gut und sicher auf einem großzügigen angemieteten Parkplatz, 3-4 Minuten von der Wohnung entfernt. Überrascht hat uns, dass wir tatsächlich nur aus der Tür traten, und fast in einen Geldautomaten, in Geschäfte und Restaurants "fielen". Es gibt einen Bäcker, Metzger, Obst- und Gemüseladen, alle nur so groß wie ein Zimmer, und der Bäcker hält für Notfälle auch ein paar Produkte parat, die man für den täglichen Bedarf braucht. Auch in der Hauptsaison sind in dem kleinen Ort nur sehr wenige Touristen unterwegs, so dass man absolute Ruhe hat. Alle Kontakte waren freundlich, immer bemüht, uns Nicht-Italiener doch irgendwie zu verstehen, und uns das zu geben, was wir brauchten. Gegessen haben wir mehrfach in der Osteria del Borgo, direkt an der Ecke. Die Wirtsfamilie ist überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Preise etwas höher, das Essen dafür sehr gut, und der Wein umso besser. Wir haben dort in der Enoteca auch Grappa für zu Hause eingekauft. Größere Einkäufe tätig man schnell und recht günstig im Italmark in Salo. Besonders gefreut hat uns, dass man zum Schwimmen tatsächlich kein Auto braucht. In ca. 15 min ist man an einem kleinen öffentlichen Kies-Badestrand, direkt unten, wo die Straße aus dem Ort auf die Uferstraße kommt. Wir sind fast täglich einfach über die Leitern am Bootsanleger ins Wasser gegangen, sind geschwommen, haben uns auf der Mauer etwas trocknen lassen, und sind wieder zur Wohnung nach oben gelaufen. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse und das Schwimmen im See sind für uns die schönsten Erinnerungen. Unterhalb der Terrasse sieht man tatsächlich fast nur auf Grün bis zum See hinunter.
