The restroom was dirty there was tile broken off the wall TV was broken with a black line in the middle of it and room card did not work to get ice from machine elevator did not work

The staff was not welcoming at all. There were three of them behind the plastic wall all talking to each other as I waited to be greeted for what seemed like quite awhile. When I finally was she was annoyed and I couldn’t hear a thing she was saying except the tv’s don’t work and we have breakfast. The room was wet, literally. The ceiling was falling down and scattered across the desk. I couldn’t get the balcony door to open. The only good things I have to say are that the ac worked and it was close to everything we needed.

Was denied a room after reaching the property. This was due to cable repair work that they needed. Horrible experience.

Vomit on balcony. I had to clean up. No tv. People on day shift unfriendly and rude, no maid service, the only positive was the view.

The location and view was amazing. Right across the beach and close enough to everything.

The property is very used and outdated. Upkeep could be better. Clean room and clean pool.

Location was good but the whole place was dilapidated

Nothing it was terrible, so i did a early check out.

Nice pool, great views, bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water. Elevator was creepy and stuffy (no air flow at all) so I took stairs to 4th floor. two dead cockroaches on floor in room, the metal tub stopper was laying on side of tub and I couldn't get it to go back into place, note on door upon check in warned no cable tv expected for 3 to 5 days (not a big deal to me, but some people that might be). The private balcony walls were cracked and had a 6 inch round sinkhole in the concrete floor on the right side that I was afraid would fall through to the balcony below mine so I avoided it.

I really appreciated the staffs friendliness and how accomodating they were. Now we didn't have any cable the entire time we were there and our tub was half the size of a normal tub but despite that, we would stay there again.

A little run down looking

I liked that it was close to the beach. I did not like the customer service of the staff, lack of towel or housekeeping service unless you requested which is something I did not know, TV in the room did not work for the entire stay and although they said they were sending up maintenance person twice no one ever showed. The room was clean. The outside facilities were not.

It was on the beach and about the cheapest hotel on the beach. No hot water or at best luke warm

The place was dated and needs some sprucing up. It served it’s purpose I wanted a place to see the ocean and I got it. The pool was sparking clean. The room needed swept the minute we got there, the shower leaked water out of the faucet. It needed painting and new curtains. No comforter on bed, just sheets. It was okay but not eye appealing. The balcony door was heavy and the front door had a chain that was at the top of the door. I couldn’t reach it to chain the door.

Liked the room and view. However some of the hardware (door locks and Tv reception) need a lot of work.

The pictures are not up to date. Don’t let the cute decor of the pictures fool you. They haven’t updated their pics online. I was disappointed in that. Also the building need a lot of renovation with the doors rotting on the inside and out. The ceiling had mold on it especially around the vents. The lock to the balcony was not secure at all, I was nervous about that since I had small children. The staff was not friendly at the beginning. But then was towards check out time. The pool was clean except for pile of trash in the corner that had a tampon.

Needs some painting and maintenance but room was clean, staff friendly and right across the street is the beach. Price was under 200 a night which is fantastic in Galveston!!

Location is great. Room could have been a little cleaner. The pool was good.

Badly needs some renovations and serious pest control
