It was a nice hotel, the staff was very good but the breakfast was lacking
Enjoyed my birthday weekend. Would stay there again.
Room very nice, staff very friendly Room had stuff on the floor under the chair and table that was missed when cleaning crew cleaned the room. Not good to see things like that. Outside of the window looked like it had not been washed in years.
Only stayed for one night. It was nice and very close to where we wanted to be.
Average room. Tv didn't work cable had been yanked out of the wall and AC / Heater was so noisy I couldn't sleep with it on. Staff was friendly.
Short stay...usually stay at Best Western Plus, so amenities were standard and staff seemed new, but overall a good value
Very clean and great for the price excellent staff will stay here again
All of the towels had hairs hanging on them. We came back late on our 2nd night and found the bed unmade. We did not receive shampoo for the 2nd night.
The staff absloutly makes this place. We had a couple of blunders like a SUPRISE low tire late at night and me not knowing how to work the room hair dryer which made us call and visit the front desk a lot the first couple of days the staff is sooo friendly including the housekeeping who we bumped into when we came back at the same time they showed up to clean out room. I just can't say enough about everyone who works here. The rooms were very clean and nice. The only down fall are the Mosquitos that swarm all over this town which of course the hotel can't help but pack big spray if you are going to Texas City. We stayed here and travled back and forth from Galveston the rooms are atleast half the price of the ones on the island and it is not that far of a drive. We also felt very safe here with our kids that is very important.
Galveston access without Galveston price tag - nice!
The hotel was clean, very nice staff and in a great location 15 min from beach and from Kemah boardwalk which is a must if you go. Loved it would stay again
It's a nice place to stay and not pay those crazy Islands prices. Right next to Galveston and Tangier Outlets.
A good place to stay for a business trip, quiet and clean.
Great Price and Hotel. Close to many good places to visit in South Houston Area such as Kemah Broadwalk, Galveston, Nasa Space Center, Moody Garden...etc.
I needed a hotel for 1 night for a wedding in town. The room itself was relatively clean and orderly. I could hear the next door neighbor's tv through our wall early sunday morning which I did not appreciate. The bed was a little stiff. The checkin process took awhile. Other than this, I have no major complaints. It was clean, convenient to the wedding venue (4 miles from the Hidden Palms) and decent value for the price.
This hotel was set up nice. I took my 2 girls for a little get away. The rooms was nice except the pillows, I think they cut a standard in half and sewed them back thank goodness there were 4. Not the best restaurants near by but we were only 30 minutes away from Galveston. Lots to choose from there. We can't afford to get away often so for the price it was nice. The girls liked the pool.
Needed a place to stay for a reunion in Galveston. The pool was fine but the a/c unit went out during the night.
i thought it was a good local for us for where we went during our stay. it had more for a cheaper price than some other hotels and the bed was most comfortable and i liked the shower. although the hair dryer went out the morning of leaving which stuff like that happens i wish i had known where the supposed diguzzi was. i didnt ask because i was tired the pool was always crowed although a nice pool it was
This hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was good, but the mall next door is dying, we went to the Tanger outlet mall at MM17 and Baybrook mall at MM 27. Everything closes after 9pm, so it was hard to find a nearby restaurant after 9pm.
Excellent service and staff, clean room and nice new refreshing feeling. Great breakfast and easy check out.
