The train yard was just across the street and the trains pass thru there all night long blowing their horn. The building needs a major updating. Our tv didn't work in our room even after the hotel staff tried to fix it. They offered a room next to ours but declined cause we didn't want to move our stuff after getting settled in and it was late. The breakfast was the worst we have had in a long time and we have been traveling a lot in the last 2years since we retired. I guess you get what you pay for. The only positive was the king bed was comfortable.

We had a good stay, went to get a good night sleep. Thought that 10.00 dollars per pet was high, had two small dogs and was charged 20.00 dollars extra for them.

It was the worst stay. With out a a/c 2 nights. Tried to have them put me in another room but no communication with staff w/Manager 2nd night he didn't get the message to be put another room. Manager very rude, wasn't able to work with me. Would not recommend anyone to this hotel. Have to have my Window open with rail road across the street. Very upsetting. Horrible stay.

The a/c cooler worked only the first 5 hours after I settle in & was hot the rest of the morning. Next morning called front desk with problem of the a/c can be repaired or be put into another. Was told they would look at it, if not able to repair they would have another room for me. That they would take care of it & sorry for the inconvenience. So when I returned at 11pm that night they didn't do anything. I was very upset. I was told they didn't have any more rooms that they would put me in. I was told they can refund one night & to go some where else. I was to tired so I just stayed in the same room & slept with the windows open. Hotel located my rail road was to load. Was the worst stay ever. Manger had no consideration. Would not recommend.

The owner of the hotel was extremely rude. He would not help us check in, but instead waited for the desk clerk to finish cleaning up the lobby. The room wasn't clean when we got there. I had to call the front desk to get towels and pillowcases! The directv did not work. They spent an hour fixing it, and it quit again that evening. We told the front desk but they did not come back to fix it during our 5 day stay. There is no air conditioning in the hallways- so it was hot. They back door does not lock like it should. There was a homeless person that waited at the end of the stairs for handouts. The blow dryer did not work. The water in the shower went back and forth from hot to cold the entire time I showered- every time I showered. They do not have enough towels to restock the rooms- so they have to collect all the dirty ones and wash them then return them later in the day. So you cannot shower during the day. The towels are tiny and rough. And to top everything off... it is literally right across the street from a very busy train track and they blow the horn at least every hour all night long. It was terrible!

So i've stayed at this motel before and for the price in the area i thought it was pretty good. the location is not bad (west gallup is bad even though most of the best places to stay are there). It has breakfast. The staff that checked us in was nice. the fridge didnt work and of course there are not enough outlets. The problem came when we tried to use the toilet. From the beginning it was apparently slow and by the morning it wouldnt flush at all. The front desk seemed really put out when we asked for assistance. She gave us a key to another room on the other side of the motel and told us to bring it back to her when we were done using it. Twice she asked if we were done using the other room. No one tried to plunge the toilet in our room or even come to check it out.

TV did not work table leg was broken the beam over head was splintered both arms on the chars were broke. window screen was torn non smoking room had cig butts on the floor and a big spider crawled under the bed the next day I will not stay in that place ever

Place is showing its age.

The hotel wasnt so bad. The room was big but the AC wasnt working so well. It didnt cool until 3 AM. I just drove in from Arches National Park and just needed a good place to sleep. I woke up several times which was bad because I had a long ten hour trip ahead of me. When I told management they said it was a premium room and never had any complaints. Even askd me if i would not give them a bad review if orbitz did a survey on me. So sorry but this was not a comfortable hotel.
