Sleeping on the first floor you hear every step above you. Clean room, but noisy atmosphere.

Stayed here for a YAFL Tournament that was going on in the area. I thought it was going to be loud and was surprisingly quiet when we closed the doors. The beds were comfortable and didn't kill my back in the morning. Definitely budget friendly, and friendly overall.

Remodeled rooms Nice and comfortable Conveniently near I-40

No elevator. Limited breakfast items. In noisy and unsafe area. Not worth it.

Nice clean room, reasonably comfortable bed, friendly staff.....basic breakfast. Easy to get to off I-40. Would stay there again.

The exterior of the building is definitely aging, but rooms were acceptable - appeared to be remodeled, with wood laminate flooring and modern bedding. The floor felt cleaner than carpet, but in my ground floor room it offered less insulation from second-floor noise. I requested to be switched to the second floor after the first night because of the early morning stomping from above, and I suggest making a reservation for the second floor if you are sensitive to noise. The staff was professional and apologetic and made the change without any fuss. Breakfast is basic - coffee, cereal, toast, muffins, etc. - but acceptable for the low price of the room. Be aware that West Gallup is a good four miles from the commercial center and the old historic downtown, and there's not much in West Gallup in terms of restaurants (though I've been told by local friends that the Indian restaurant in the gas station is surprisingly good!). But it's not hard to find parking in the center of town and in old town, so if a cheap but clean room is your primary need and you're not too sensitive to noise (there is some background highway and train noise too) this property is not a bad place. Also perfectly functional if you're driving long distance and need a place to stay for the night w/ easy interstate access.

Besides the drunk guy making a fuss when I first walked into the office and breaking bottles in the parking lot, things were ok. Although they claim to have a one pet per room policy, which wasn't on Orbitz, she let me stay with my 2 animals.

After a long drive we needed a comfy bed and pillows to rest. The laundry room was very clean, the gym and pool were nice also, staff was friendly and courteous! We enjoyed our stay! Thank you, Red Roof!

nice and clean good location for travelers and sights are great

The hotel was nice. The only complaint I have is that the treadmill had a bit of a glitch but at least they had a workout room. Overall a nice overnight stay.

I found the room to be clean and the staff friendly . The parts I didn't like was how the floor would shake anytime a person was walking in the next room or out on the walkway . Also the walls are thin and do very little to block out noise . My room faced the north towards the train tracks and I-40 . The noise wasn't terrible but wasn't anything nice either . Maybe if you get a room facing a direction other than north you'll be alright .

Satisfied all the needs for overnight stay on a road trip. Comfortable mattress for night rest.

Hotel was nice clean and comfortable and met my pricing. Only setback was miscommunication within hotel staff I stayed for two nights and after one night stay the cleaning staff trashed my salad and water I left in the fridge. But manager corrected it right away and I was satisfied.

It was a great value for the money. It was what we had expected and for this strip it was perfect.

It was clean and comfortable, plus easy to find. The staff were friendly and helpful, suggested an awesome local restaurant for a weary traveler. Only down fall was breakfast. Very few choices, but was better than nothing.

Hotel only allows one pet, but they did allow us to have two without an extra charge. The walls are thin and you can hear other guests. Overall, though, it was a nice stay for the money.

This hotel was an average hotel. The breakfast was average and beds were ok on comfortablity. They only allow technically one dog in each room, but I had both of mine. If needed, I would stay here again.

Had trouble with directions to hotel using Googlemaps.

No surprise. It was typical Inn in typical country side.

I know why they have video surveillance of the parking lot, because we were approached twice in the parking lot by pan-handlers as we were packing up to leave. Should NOT happen on hotel property! If you are going East when leave - good luck! Both entrances to the highway say "West"!
